Nearly 10 of the top coaches in college basketball have spoken and are on board with the following idea, source told me.

- Selection Sunday on as planned.

- Postpone the NCAA Tournament and continue to monitor the situation.

I understand all the complications that occur when you do this but I still don't get why they don't just give it 2 weeks and see where it stands. I haven't seen a great argument against it.

How do y’all think this effects next years roster?

With a shortened timespan to recruit kids out of the portal Oats may be forced to keep some of the sucky players we got on our team.

I definitely would have suspended for 2-3 weeks and then re-evaluated before making my final decision

All things aside, I'm pretty heart broken for Anthony Grant.

He was always a class act and it seemed like his ship was finally coming in at Dayton.

Must be gutted.

A lot of coaches have bonuses tied to selection and tournament performance. Not surprising they are holding on

Indeed, and he's the type of guy that's probably more gutted for his players than he is himself.

Logistics would be my guess. Securing hotel rooms, making sure arenas were available on those different dates, encroaching on final exams time, TV schedules, etc.

Bigger issue to me was they cancelled baseball and softball. Seems they definitely could have held off on those decisions for a couple of weeks.

Hawkins tweeted something today that could have been interpreted as a farewell. I can’t find the tweet now but you could definitely read it as goodbye.

There was a team photo taken today too and Hawkins is the only one not in it for some reason, may be nothing who knows. Probably nothing, he was with the team in Nashville.

Just noticed Quinerly isn't in it either, maybe they weren't in it because they didn't play this year?

Y’all remember the old days, when other fan bases would laugh at us for not being in the tournament? Who’s laughing now, ya pricks

We’re all going to have to wait until stuff starts leaking about transfers. I’m ready for it to happen though. I needs to know
