The whole SEC is so bipolar this year.

Don't look now...

The Women's team have done something they haven't in over a decade... (no idea how long it's been for the men)

They've received votes in the latest AP Poll.

Their SEC Tournament opponent will be #9 seed UGA.

Alabama and Georgia's regular season meeting was in Athens, and the Tide took the Lady Bulldogs into overtime to lose a heart breaker.

Vengeance is Nigh! Nigh I Say!!!!

I’ve been hard on Curry, but this is a definite improvement. I hope the ladies don’t go and shite the bed like the men do every season

That's great!

(Men's team sadly had some preseason Top25 votes this year.)

This is gonna sound crazy but it might be better to lose Saturday to get that 10 seed.

I have no doubt now that we will beat Missouri and finish 9th in the league. I also speculate that our opponent in the first round of the SEC will be A&M and we will also win that game. Why do I think this? Because the winner of the 8 vs 9 game gets the #1 seed on Friday. So once again, Kentucky can send us packing to the NIT. (Sigh)

Yeah, the 10 seed is on the opposite side of the bracket from Kentucky. Nate needs to send a message on Saturday by sitting the starters on their asses and letting walk ons play.

Yea, I’d for sure sit Reese and put a walk on out there. Maybe that would get his attention.

You honestly have reason. This, plus making the NCAA tournament, would be the first real concrete bit of improvement she's made with the program, since getting the ladies to the WNIT relatively quickly. She's plateaued for nearly two entire recruiting cycles right below the bubble.

Hopefully the light at the end of the tunnel is near and she can finally take this program back to at least relevancy. It'll be honestly surreal, it's been so damn long.

I wouldnt count on out coaching the TAMU coach. He will control us again. But hey, we have SAS Reese, so maybe we impose our will on TAMU

I really wish we could get Jayvon Graves to grad transfer here from Buffalo. Not sure Oats would poach his former teams best player like that, but Oats is the one who recruited Graves there in the first place.

He is averaging 17 points 6 rebs 3 assist 2 steals and 1 block per game. Will be a SR next season.

Could be good for his career to transfer to a bigger school like Alabama where every game you play is televised.

I hope this is a possibility. He looks good.

I mean he's on fricking audio recording talking about paying players that ended up signing with LSU. Is the NCAA's position that they need proof that the players didn't just say "nah, I love LSU and Will Wade so much I'll turn down this money and play for free"?

That isnt the ncaa rule. Remember our bball assistant coach that went to a booster in Montgomery and asked for money to recruit with. The Booster called Mal Moore and Moore call the ncaa. They patted us on the back and said this is the way its supposed to work, but said it was still a major violation and busted us. They just do what they want and when they want. The only difference is these teams now lawyer up and fight them.
