We have a good resume, especially when you factor in the injuries we've had.

Exactly. That’s why I think win these next 2 and 1 in the SEC tournament will get us into Dayton. Lunardi is a fraud. He didn’t even have UNC Greensboro and Alabama on his bubble last year and they were the 1st and 2nd teams out

The @AlabamaMBB record for wins by a first year head coach is held by Wimp Sanderson and Avery Johnson (both had 18 wins). Nate Oats has 16 wins with 2 regular season games and the postseason remaining.

It’s pretty much impossible to watch Cleveland unless you have league pass, but Collin has been really efficient lately.

Over the last 10 games:

22.1 ppg
47% FG
48% 3FG
78% FT

His numbers for the season aren’t that different - 20 ppg/46/38/84

His efficiency is good enough that it’s not just empty calories scoring for a bad team.

You can do a counterpoint even from just looking at his stats. He doesn’t do anything else. 3 rebounds a game, 2.8 assists, 1 steal. That’s just extremely low productivity. His defense was supposedly pretty horrendous last year so I’m guessing it’s not great this year.

So he’s got a pretty clear path to becoming more of a star - he’s got to do more than just score. But he is turning into a pretty good scorer.

Alabama's John Petty (elbow) is doubtful to play tonight against Vanderbilt, per Nate Oats.

Oats: "Possible on Saturday. Likely for the SEC Tournament."

Reputation is worth a good 2 wins if you're on the bubble. That's a big reason why we have consistently found ourselves just missing the field so much lately. If you slapped the name Kentucky, UNC, or Kansas on a few of our resumes over the last decade we would probably have at least a couple more tournament appearances than we have had.

Alabama point guard Kira Lewis Jr. has 983 career points. He is set to join James “Hollywood” Robinson as the only players in program history to reach 1,000 points in just two seasons. Robinson accomplished the feat in the 57th game of his career, while Lewis will be making his 64th appearance for the Crimson Tide Tuesday night. Lewis is averaging a team-high 18.1 points per game this season.

Alabama is one win away from joining Kentucky as the only two SEC teams with 800 wins in conference play. The Crimson Tide moved to 799-623 (.526 winning percentage) with its victory over South Carolina. Both the wins and winning percentage rank second to Kentucky.

With its 77-62 victory over Vanderbilt earlier this season, Alabama has now won three straight games against the Commodores. The last time the Crimson Tide won four consecutive games in the series came between 1984-1987 when Alabama won seven games in a row.

There are some important games tonight for us in terms of SECT seeding and the bubble watch teams. Left ours out, but it is of course the most important

Teams we need to win in bold

Miss St @ SC -2
Tennessee @ Kentucky -9.5

If SC wins tonight they are pretty much guaranteed the 6 seed in the SECT, since their last game is Vandy at home. If they lose and we win we are both tied at 6th in the conference and we own the tie breaker vs them.

We need Tenn to lose because they currently have the same conference record as us.

Texas @ Oklahoma -7
Purdue @ Iowa -4.5
Davidson @ Richmond -5.5

Texas, Purdue, and Richmond are all currently ahead of us on the bubble.

Yea - Richmond is tricky. We need them to play themselves out of the bubble discussion but we also need them to stick around as a solid OOC win.

True but they are gonna be a quad 2 win regardless. They’d have to drop past 75 in the net to become a quad 3 or jump in the top 30 to become a quad 1 win and they are currently at 48.

Yep - couple losses and we should be good there.

Be nice to be up 8-10 at half then keep it between 15-20 for most of second half where I could relax ...... we all know that won’t happen

If we don’t win by at least 10 tonight it’s basically a loss because Q4
