Oats told them their tournament chances start right now (pregame vs A&M). The commentator said Oats was livid on the bench, trying to get his guys to fight for a rebound. Granted, we don't know what all went into preparation for the game, but the guys looked sluggish and disinterested at the start of the game. We don't have any skilled bigs, limited ball handlers, and some guys who don't bring it every game.

What’s everyone’s feeling on the Ole Miss game tomorrow? Going to be interesting to see the effort and energy we come with.

I'll just be completely and brutally honest - I want us to win but my emotional investment is dead.

And I have zero clue what to expect.

Yeah, kind of sad that I’m starting to look more forward to watching my 16-41 team than Alabama basketball. And that hasn’t ever happened to me. Just so discouraging to shite the bed like this every year and end up just outside the NCAAT every year.

Oh, well. At least Trae can entertain me in the meantime.

The ultimate Alabama basketball move would be to win the next 3 and then lose at home to Vandy.

We’ll sweep the rest of the regular season, win a game in the SECT, lose by 12 to Kentucky, and be the 69th team.

Honestly, I want Petty to leave. Kira can stay if he moves to 2. Petty has improved his game this year and given better effort but the guy has never lived up to his hype. Mr. Basketball two years running in Alabama and a strong 5 star. Billed as a 3 pt assassin. I expect a guy with that pedigree to be able to take over a game and shoulder the team at times. I’m still waiting to see John do that. He’s more like a solid 3 star.

So lose Petty, Bolden, and Smith. Kira is not very smart if he leaves but whatever suits him. Like I said, stay and slide to the 2 or bye Felecia. It’s better for him and better for Bama. Anybody else that doesn’t want to win can GTFO too.

As for tomorrow, yeah, they will probably win. The pressure of being in the hunt is gone so they will play well and win. Of course it wouldn’t surprise me if they get run out of the Tad Pad by 20. The carrot of a Dance ticket is gone so some players won’t GAF anymore and are ready to pack it in.

I’m to that point with this roster. Don’t GAF anymore. Build for next year. I woke up in a bad mood, I’m pissed off at the world and being a Bama basketball fan doesn’t help.

We get to 20 wins we are in for sure and we're at 14 currently with 5 games left, plus the SEC tournament. I have zero faith that we get in and don't expect us to but it's still possible mathematically.

I think Herb was getting reevaluated today in hopes he could go down to a less restrictive cast. If he can get back to where he can at least be a threat to score on offense so that the defense would at least have to guard him that would help.

Yeah, me too. I'm sure we can bring in a freshman that will do better than JP, who is probably our best all around player, and one of the top 3 point shooters in the nation. No big loss there, just our best shooter, best rebounder, and at least our second best defender.

He’s done that a couple of times. But he’s also inconsistent and mentally checks out when things aren’t going well for him. He’s a good player and helps us more than not.

My opinion on OM game depends on which Bama team shows up.
Is it the team that played their asses off vs LSU or the team that didn't give a shite vs A&M.
Who the hell knows.
Its Bama basketball in February.

I could see us winning one of these two and Vandy then losing Vs SC in another must win game at home.

This John Fulkerson guy from Tennessee is another big that took a long tome to develop and has seemingly came out of nowhere. Redshirted his first year there, then as a Fr. So. and Jr. never averaged over 5 points a game, then is his last 5 games is averaging like 20 points a game. He has been playing well all season really, I know he dominated us.

Yea I'm not following not wanting Petty/Herb and Lewis all back. Petty played like crap the other night but all in all the last 2 years, he's played well.

If Oats lands Primo what will y'll think of his recruiting so far? That will be two 5 stars he has added to the roster in the less than a year he has been here, even if one was a transfer.

Even though we haven't seen him play yet Rojas was a good add, he was the number 5 ranked JUCO player.
