I’m so thankful the schedule gets a little easier now. We’ve just gotta keep playing the way we have been these last 2 games and we should be fine

I think I'm more concerned with Petty in that gif. He was in front of Galin and should have moved to the left to block out the LSU player. That would have guaranteed that we got any rebound that didn't take a long bounce to the left.

To be fair, the LSU defender closer to the rim didn’t look any better. Galin was aways from the basket and probably expected the point blank shot to drop. Herb hustled though.

Herb is the only guy in that gif from either team in a position to grab a rebound that doesn't come right to him.

Jeff Goodman noted that the 5 metrics utilized by the NCAA Selection Committee are : NET, KenPom, Sagarin, KPI and BPI

Here is where we rank in those

NET : #35
KenPom : #47
Sagarin : #44
KPI : #45
BPI : #58

6 games left. We need to take care of business at home which is very doable TAMU, Vandy, SC, then need to win at least one of @Miss St, @Ole Miss @Mizzou. Then probably win one in the tourney.

Quad one chances left - @ Miss St
Quad twos left - SC, @Ole Miss, @Mizzou

I hope Ole Miss can finish strong and end up in Q1 for us.

Yea - gotta go 3-0 at home. Vandy/A&M should be wins if we show up, Carolina will give us all we want.

The 3 road games are sneaky tough. State is obviously going to be tough and Ole Miss and Missouri are currently playing their best basketball of the season. Ole Miss has won 3 straight home games over USC, Florida and State and lost to Auburn in 2OT the game before that. Missouri has won 2 straight home games over Arkansas and Auburn.

We'll have to earn it down the stretch, but the guys earned the opportunity to be in it.

Yeah those three road games do look pretty tough. Won't be as tough as Auburn was but we'll likely have to win a close game on the road to make the tourney.

I think we match up pretty well vs Mizzou, we beat them by 14 at home, but they are paying better lately. They beat Auburn pretty good yesterday, but as someone said Auburn without Okoro is similar to us without Herb, he is their MVP for sure.

Ole Miss pretty much goes how Tyree goes and he has been on fire lately.

Would love to win that @Miss St, I think we catch them at a good time, but they have good players, especially Perry it will be tough.
