Nate Oats said he's proud of his team for getting the win, but there's "a lot of stuff to learn from the game. Our offensive rebounding that we gave up was disastrous. ... Our turnovers were still too high."

Man, the replay of Petty "rolling" the ball back to the ref that instigated the tech is such BS. Need the ref to explain himself honestly.

Not having Davis but 5mins was huge IMO. He is the best rebounder of the 3 options we got to play the 5.(None are really that great)

Oh, Wimp was demonstrative but he didn’t get T’d up very often and I don’t think he was as outspoken as Nate is. Wimp would scowl and ride the refs but he was very good at knowing how far he could push before crossing the line. Nate hasn’t even sniffed that line yet. And I don’t mind that as long as he doesn’t do it where it costs us a close game like it could have today.

Having said all that, officials today are a bunch of thin skinned pussies that get their panties in a wad if you look at them sideways. It’s ridiculous. And with today’s technology, they get busted for every missed call. I know it’s a hard job, but give it your best, be consistent, and man up when you screw up and take a deserved arse chewing. Warn the coach and/or player when you’ve had enough and move on. Don’t be a bitch and try to influence the game.

Alabama wouldn’t clear Butler. Baylor was the only school that would and it paid off big time for them. Bottom line.

Cause they’re a private school?

While being out rebounded isn't great, for whatever reason we overcome it with good D, FT shooting, and timely 3s.

I've said it before, being undersized down low, isn't going to be our downfall. We overcome that with the pace of play, because of the shots we take, and the ones we allow.

This team is clicking well, and they have a winning mindset.

Winning by our lowest margin this season didn't really test us though as far as having a clutch victory.
