Up to #41 in RPI (which doesn't matter but is still interesting while waiting on NET)

I mean we could have kept Butler and had Kira too. All Avery had to do was take his son off scholarship and Pay for him out of his pocket.

Wtf. Hate when referees feel like they should be treated like royalty when a competitor in the heat of competition has a different opinion than them. Screw these self righteous referees.

We didn't run Butler off because he wasn't a good basketball player.

Perfect example of a pompous arse SEC official: Doug Shows who stunk up the gym when we played Missouri was out on the floor before the game. He went over to the floor seats near the goal and tried to engage and high five with a young boy about 7 or so. The kid wanted nothing to do with him. Dude, you’re a freakin official, not a player, not a rock star. Get the frick over yourself. The less people see of you, the better.

Alabama wouldn’t clear Butler. Baylor was the only school that would and it paid off big time for them. Bottom line.

I know. Heart condition....but don’t look like their is anything wrong with him. I would have kept him and made him sign a waiver to play.

I'm completely fine with what we did. Baylor is literally the only school that would let him play with what he had.

Looking like we are going to split the challenge.

Happy we were able to do that instead of losing it. It's too bad State wasn't able to pull it out against OU.

If we split we still got the trophy I think. Because we won it 2 years ago and split these last 2 years

This. Avery didn't choose his son over Butler.

Hopefully we got the stinkers out of the way cause we need to play our best ball of the season next week. LSU and Arky are two huge games.

I think their mercurial ways may make them that much more exciting. But, frustrating too. They don’t have the mental toughness yet to sustain.
