Herb's having a pretty bad game, 3 points 3 turnovers, 2 fouls. O rebounds or assists. Hopefully he can get it going in the second half.

We need to face the fact that if we aren't focused and ready to play hard for 40 minutes, we're not talented enough to beat decent P-5 teams...not this year.

It is basically pitch til you win the way they are getting offensive rebounds.

Jones is not a freshman and he has TO's out the ying yang. Halfway through the season and there is no such thing as a freshman TO for guys who been playing BB for about 10 years

There is plenty of game tape on us now, and coaches have figured out how to get us off our game. Shack and Bolden just are not PG’s and shouldn’t be handling the ball as much as they have been in recent games. I don’t know if they’re forcing it out of Akita’s hands, or if Oats is trying to give Kira some in game breathers. Still, we are fighting and playing hard and getting rewarded with some gritty wins. That counts for something I guess.
Being down Davis tonight isn’t helping things with KSU’s size inside.

My comment was about Shack’s TO when he got baited into dribbling into a double team, then panicked and travelled.

I'm not sure Shackelford is quick enough to play in Oaks' style of play. I know he's a freshman, but quickness can't be taught.

Probably this is a point in the season where having some extra bodies to eat some minutes pay dividends.
