I think if Davis is under the basket with the ball and is double-teamed, I think Oats wants him to find the open guy around the arc.

Like how Herb was playing bad at the first of the season then turned it around once he got healthy, I think Beetle does the same by the end of the year, IF he can get healthy. He is a much better player offensively than he has shown so far this year, at WV he regularly scored over 20 points.
The problem is he keeps getting re injured. Not being able to practice really messes up your offensive flow.
