This is the kind of game that should be an easy W that we would mail in and either get a struggle win or an embarrassing loss under Avery. Im REALLY nervous about this one because it just has all the ingredients for a huge pot of letdown stew.

Relax. Everything is going to be okay. This team is playing good basketball. It’s a new era for Alabama basketball and tonight will prove that. I know it’s a small sample size, but I fully believe there is a new normal that has been established we just have to all adjust to it.

I think Herb turns into a lockdown defender in the NBA. Like a bigger Patrick Beverly

Even as big of a fan as I am of Herb, I’m not sure why he’d be ahead of Petty on any draft boards. Herb can be an NBA lockdown defender, but if you can’t even be somewhat useful on offense, you won’t see any court action in the NBA. Petty is turning into a very solid 3&D option which are one of the most valuable assets there are in the NBA.

I don’t disagree, but I’m not sure Petty is long enough to be considered a top 3 and D candidate. Can he really defend NBA wings?
Luckily for next years team, all of our guys have obvious issues which could affect their ability to leave this year. Petty has probably the fewest issues, but he also might have the lowest ceiling.
