To be fair, so many of their shots (especially 3s), have been wide open so far. Even bad shooting teams hit open shots. Oats is going to have to draw up big time adjustments at half.

They’re doing it on the defensive end. Almost all of their 3’s have been early in the shot clock after forcing bad shots on the other end. We need to find an answer for their length when we are on offense. It is killing us.

All things considered, 10 ain’t bad. Outside of the last few minutes, I think we were a bit unlucky defensively. Their shooting should regress to the mean a bit this half, but we have to clean up the mistakes offensively

He's just not very good when he's the iso guy.
He's much better as the pop to th FT line, catch and facilitate guy. That and loose ball/crash glass.

Well hopefully the 3 point shooting horseshoe will fall out of UK’s arse ok their walk to the locker room.

They aren't making that many 3's, they're making a bunch of mid range shots. If they were taking 3's we'd be down 20.

To me their midrange shooting was more fluky. We probably did a poorer job defending the 3 point line

They are like 5/6 on threes. That’s a lot for one half. Alabama is top 5 in made 3’s per game at like 11 or 12. UK is halfway there now at the half.

It looked like we were willing to give them the mid range so they wouldn’t just pound us down low and get out bigs in foul trouble. Good strategy given their shooting this season. It’s just our luck they decide to make most of them.

Beetle is 0-5 on threes and Shack hasn’t even attempted one yet.
Game has gone about as absolutely poorly as possible for us so far and we are only down 10.
We could easily lose this one by 20, but we could just as easily make this a ballgame.
Curious to see what the whistles do in the second half. Only 8 fouls combined so far with a lot of no calls and physicality.

UK is 344th in the country in made 3’s per game at 4.7.

Like it’s just freaking RUH-TARDED how unlucky this team is. When they need a break to go their way, you can guarantee they will be screwed bigly.
