That doesn't mean he had an injury. His back could have been sore

I'm not on the bandwagon that he has a bulging disc and they are medicating him. Could you imagine the liability? Those days are over. Maybe he had a strain but I doubt that as well. Im sure everyone of us here has tried to throw a football or baseball with a bad back, a pulled muscle etc. You aren't able, not with the velocity you need. The torque would be excruciating.

If he can run, take hits, and throw 40 yards down the field his back isn't hurt.

Folks on another site have been saying herniated disc during sack vs MO. Poster said he takes an epidural every Monday.

Who knows?

I have bulging discs in my neck. When it flairs up I lose probably 50% of my grip strength, and a slight loss of dexterity. It really isn’t noticeable, but if I was throwing something, I absolutely couldn’t do it with accuracy. Or at least as good as before. Interesting the rumors of Ty’s back

I know that a back injury is not to blame for him missing reads.

If you were that affected then a coach wouldn't start you on Saturdays.

It's ridiculous to think Ty's problems are caused solely by a back injury and the coaches just trot him out there anyway knowing there's a 50/50 chance he won't hit the broad side of a barn.

I think he definitely hurt something after that hit vs Missouri and it has impacted him moving forward. I don't believe that we would run him out there with a herniated disc, the chances for a more catastrophic injury are too high.

He may be hurting physically but I think the biggest problem is between his ears. He doesn’t look comfortable the way truly elite quarterbacks do. It’s probably an assortment of things.

He isn't 100 percent and won't be until off season but I don't agree that he shouldn't be missing open guys.

I fear Ty Simpson is experiencing David Carr disease. He's taken too many hits behind this dog shite OL that can't run block, can't pass block, probably can't even block someone on social media.

I agree with everything AJ is saying except the end part and he knows it.

Hard to throw those quick stick and slants when defenses are sitting on you throwing them. Their safeties after the ball is snapped don't back pedal, they sit or come up field fast.

We need to get these guys off our arse and the only way to do that is make them pay a couple times over their heads and if we can do that the entire playbook opens up.

How can a QB that looked so good in middle of the season look so bad now?
Players, teams are supposed to get better not regress.

It’s a concerning trend at QB through 2 seasons of the DeBoer program.

Do you guys think DCs don't watch film, study tendencies and try to exploit weaknesses???

Did you not see how you guys stopped us from scoring the entire second half in the first game? Do you think that was black magic or did Kirby and Schumman notice some tendencies of our QB and OL and exploit them??

Both QB definitely didn't grow or adapt with the season. They are exactly what they were from the start which made it easier for teams to adjust and stop them with enough film study.

Milroe is a deep ball or runs. No accuracy, no reading, nothing in the middle.

Ty Simpson is dink and dunk or intermediate. No deep ball, no pocket awareness or scrambling. Lost all accuracy

Deboer rides Ty all the way to another loss over Oklahoma then hes a dead man walking next year.

Unless Ty can’t walk he will play the entire game. Deboer is going to ride Ty all the way to the unemployment line. And if he comes back next year Ty will start again.
