Agreed. However, I believe in the long run Koolaid and Ricks are upgrades over Jobe and JAD.

Jobe and JAD are mid round players. Ricks and Koolaid have 1st round potential.

I agree on the update over Jobe and JAD. Kool-Aid will have to fight Jackson for his spot. Jackson is much more fluid than Kool-Aid.

Kool-Aid has a lot of work too do and honestly I prefer Khyree because he will come down hill quickly to hit! He needs to get back too playing with SWAG and every time I watched him I was like here we go being STIFF!

JAD was playing like first round material early on...

Not necessary a bad thing. Kool Aid and Jackson will make each other better.

I think we're witnessing a shift in philosophy. Bama leading the way of course. Gone are the days of draft eligible guys looking for a top 50 grade. They just need assurance they can stick on a pro roster. Sounds like win/win assuming they're right. The kids get to realize their dream and the more Bama players are all over pro rosters the more recruits/transfers line up to roll with the Tide.

No one ever answered my question about Kyle Edwards... he entered into the portal last year and nobody picked him up. Is he still at Bama?

No he is not. He would have played by now if he was.

not sure anyone knows where he is... he is not and has not been listed on the rosters...
reviewing his social media, I find that Twitter pages are not impressed... his IG page really has no football home since he left Bama... his FB page shows no other Football mentions since the last pic of him in his Bama uni in May of 2021

Im thinking that his transfer was into nowhere...

Ricks and Koolaid/Jackson could be one of the better corner tandems in the nation next year. Don't forget that Arnold has legit talent as well.

This defense is one break-out star on the DL away from being potentially a really really special defense. Just need that one Jon Allen or Ashawn Robinson type guy that other teams have to double...then 31 and 15 will feast. Maybe one of the young guys turns into that dude, or maybe we poke around the portal to find one?

I think the middle of the line is set with

Cohen
Dalcourt/McLaughlin
Ekiyor

...the battle for both tackle spots is what will have my attention thru Spring ball.

Brockermeyer
George
Kight
Latham

Guessing it will be between these 4 unless something crazy happens.

It’s not George lol.

Booker might be an option

Latham will win one of the jobs. He's a tremendous talent and is only scratching the surface of his potential. I'm interested to see what happens with Brockermeyer. He's a tremendous player but was redshirted this year. Booker is legit. He should push for playing time.

I agree with you we have tons of talent, however we have to get a better offensive line coach. No matter how much talent we have it isn't being developed by Doug Marrone.

He stole money this year. Did a terrible job coaching and he wasn't the lead recruiter for a single one of our signees.

Oh I totally agree. The fact that he couldn't find anyone better than Chris Owens to start at right tackle all year is enough for me to question his decision making. Hopefully we make a change and get a new OL coach.

I’m going Latham and Brockermeyer.

George ain’t it as a tackle and Kight has been here a good while and it hasn’t clicked.
