Hate to disappoint you but, when you're afraid of something, even going so far as to attempting to have rules changed because you're that scared, you're pretty much a pussy.
I'm glad to see that some of you are in such great moods after losing to your teams biggest rival & missing out on a conference & national championship. It's also relieving that some of you are perfectly fine losing one game every year in the final month of the season. To each their own though.

I am smelt.
I was dogging Saban for not centering the ball on 3rd down and kicking the xtra point, anyone else the Cade might have pulled a slight groin ? Even his xtra points looked horrific.

I was at the game, and I assure you, I'm not in a great mood.
I'm just not stupid enough to call a coach who has won 3 national titles at my university a pussy. Grow up, pussy.

The thing that gets me is that Drake played no minutes on offense in the 2nd half. It couldn't be because he was hurt, because he was still playing special teams.
Cyrus Jones has been abused at corner all year, I'm no db guru, but he has looked horrendous all year. I knew after the first field goal was missed that it would bite us in the butt in the end.
We had the chance to put the nail in the coffin at the end of the first half, but they gutted our D for the long drive and gave them life. If you let a team hang around for long enough when they have no right to still be in the game, then more than likely they will end up winning the game.

True, Bear Bryant had two 6 win seasons in the middle of his tenure at Alabama.
Warden, you'd be crying for his head by now.... and not a metaphor for his job, you'd literally be lobbying for his execution.

Who has backed in to two of those championships with help from other teams. They count. They were just gifted to us, wrapped and everything. It's pretty weak. They played a super high LSU team & an FCS level Notre Dame. I'll give them 2009 though. That was a fricking football team that didn't quit.
I'm done though. I rarely visit the rant these days. Just needed to let my fumes and problems with these teams exhaust. I'd like another team like 09. Not sure if we'll see that again though. Saban is a good coach. Dude just has to stop playing afraid & gamble a little bit. Maybe then he'll make it out of November without a letdown.

I never said I wanted him to be fired so I don't know where that came from. I just said I didn't agree with his & staff's sloppy play calling.

Some of you people have lost your damn mind. It's pathetic, honestly.

Warden, do you know how hard it is to even have your team in position to "back in" to a BCS title almost on a yearly basis?
Just stop.
Just stop.

What's the point in even hoping for an undefeated season anymore? All Bama does is win 11 games each year only to lose a game in November. Then they have to rely on other teams to lose just so they can play for a national championship. Luck has been on Bama's side during this "dynasty" and finally it's catching up. The coach that the UA pays millions of dollars for is, to put it lightly, a pussy. He bitches about the HUNH because he's "concerned about player safety". When in actuality he's afraid because it completely destroys his precious defense. All the 5* & 4* DBs, LBs, OL, DL, RBs, QBs & WRs aren't going to help when the game comes down to kicking FGs & your team always has the least clutch kickers in CFB. It's also not going to help when you run the ball on 3rd and short to get 0 yards & then try the same thing again hoping to catch the defense off guard. It's easy to blame the K or the Defense. When it's actually the coach & his staff. Maybe next year they'll go undefeated. More than likely they'll finish 11-1 though. It's their trademark, their MO, now. Instead of "Never Again"; it should be "Same shite, Different Year".

Play action on that 4th and 1 would have won the game.

I think that bothers me more than anything. Would have been perfect with the way Auburn sold out on the run on that play.

How many times does AJ need to prove that he can handle the weight of the team on his shoulders? It was a cop out giving it to Yeldon and it sold McCarron short. I know we would have got it.

I wonder why AJ didn't call it himself like in the Tejas A&M game? Stadium noise?

Not many thought CJ would be shut down.
I didn't think CJ was shut down. He was getting off blocks and doing what he could. 14 tackles. DePriest had 11. Part of that is # of plays, but they did what they could.
I just don't get it...they were moving our DL right out of plays. Ivory wasn't the NG we needed.
I just can't feel as bad about it seeing how we lost on such a weird play when we had so many missed FGs, dropped passes, etc. If magic happens and Duke/Sparty win, then we play for the title, but if we can't play for it...well it is a disappointment but I hope we show up angry to our bowl game. Think the Cap One bowl vs Michigan State.
And let AJ get to 3000 yards. He needs like 324.

The frustrating thing is the way we came out so scared to start the game. It's like we feared AU, a team who we've beaten two years and hadn't allowed an offensive TD from. How does that happen? With all of the hundreds of thousands of dollars we give to Kevin Elko, how did we come out so tight & afraid?
Another frustrating thing is that back in 2008 and 2009, we had a committee at RB. Yesterday, we stubbornly rode one and Nuss went back to his fatal flaw which is going away with works. The fact that Drake didn't get a touch in the 2nd half is criminal.
