How KB morphed at Arkansas in one year and vs how Tow (and the team) regressed should be a wake up call for Murphy.

Former Tide stars lead Robertsdale resurgence (al.com)

Former Alabama softball stars Peyton Grantham and Alexis Osorio knew turning around the Robertsdale program wouldn’t be easy.

He's one of the girls. Are testicles in play? By the way, don't forget the Gator's starting shortstop.

The season isn't over yet that's all I'm saying brother but your spot on about if we continue playing like this then it will be shortly.

We live in such a microwave society that if we do get bounced quickly...I think there will be a lot of pressure put on Greg Byrne/Pat Murphy to make changes within the coaching staff.

I know everybody has their own opinion shoot some hate Murphy & some like Murphy but for the sake of the GIRLS I truly hope they get this thing turned around quickly.

Exactly Wallace went to the the rival high school in my county and it is common knowledge why she went to UF. He basically ran her off due to the position change. Murphy plays favorites and is too stubborn/arrogant to change.

He always jumped down KBs throat with every little mistake and ran her off too due to the same crap.

I for one hope they get bounced in the regionals and force the hand. Hate it for the girls but enough is enough.

Murphy isn't going anywhere, even if they go 0-2 in regionals.

Even the average 17 and 18 teams made it to the Super Regionals.

I expect this team get a 7 or 8 seed and win the regional and probably the Super Regional.

Fouts does a lot better against nonconference teams that haven't seen her much.

Well he needs to. He gets more arrogant and seemingly bulletproof with every passing season. His teams never have any balance and he’s been fortunate enough to catch lightning in a bottle once and he thinks he’s set for life. It’s time for new blood

I can’t be as harsh as I want, but Murphy needs to make some adjustments. I kinda think that he’s gotten way too comfortable. I actually don’t know his pronouns, so I hope that referring to him as a male is ok with him

Unless the Freshmen and sophs. greatly improve offensively by next season, I don't see it. There's a real shortage of power in the lineup. There are a number of SEC teams who are definitely stronger at the plate, and Fouts seems to be about all we've got on the mound..... and she's getting timed up as folks are seeing her more as the season progresses, not to mention she's got to be wearing down at least a little.
I hate to sound so negative, but I'm just not seeing much in the way of rainbows out there unless we find some better "bats".

Definitely need to recruit some big bats ( some will hate on them for being big also ) in HS and portal . Just look at how it turned ARKY around so quick . I don’t like small ball type softball teams… the game has changed

Murphy isn't getting fired. Not anytime soon at least. Even if they don't win another game this season he's completely safe. Sports like softball, women's basketball, golf, tennis, etc. are sports where being competitive is good enough at Alabama. If the program isn't competitive for a few years in a row then a change might be made, but Alabama is absolutely not going to fire a coach who is consistently fielding a top 15 team, even if the program has stagnated a bit. Football is literally the only sport that would not apply to.
