Bama has been sucking the last few weeks and this loss just solidifies that.
Someone needs to light a fire under this team, they have been sleepwalking for the last month.

fouts was lucky to give up nothing in the first inning and got lit up in the 6th and did not help with the weak arse 2nd base girl dropped a routine pop up for out 3 with Bama down 2-0..our batters in the last two innings were doing upper cuts on their swings and were routine pop ups.
If Lexi aint healthy good luck getting out of regionals.

Alabama's offense isn't good enough to go past regionals. If Murphy's gonna ride into the future with this lineup, then it's game over for any future success.

I wanted to break my TV when I heard the announcers talking about how Fouts was just starting to try to add something off-speed to her repertoire!...WTF!!!
I've been screaming all year about the fact that she hasn't learned ANY off-speed pitch, and the good hitting teams are beginning to time her up in the latter innings. She's needed SOMETHING off-speed to at least put into the hitter's mind. It doesn't have to be elite, and doesn't even have to be thrown for a strike....just change to their "look" at her pitches.
Anybody who's played the game understands what I'm saying! That shite's on Murphy, and Prothro, his pitching coach.
Alabama's offense isn't good enough to go past regionals. If Murphy's gonna ride into the future with this lineup, then it's game over for any future success.

Earlier in the season, we all thought that this team could possibly be the best hitting team we've had in a long time but for some reason everybody has seem to hit a mental wall from freshman to the seniors.
Goodnight needs to get back to being the leadoff and Johnson needs to be second. We got to switch back to how we started the season or something.
This team is mentally weak right now...

Fouts needs another year regardless of how this season plays out.
I thought Krystal Goodman had the BEST stuff out of all our pitchers in the previous season shoot I kind a wished she would of stayed another year.
Our offense is trash right now there's no if ands or buts about it. I think Goodnight needs to be the first batter regardless of her struggles. We were really good offensively earlier in the season with her and Johnson at the top.
I think if our offense can get back to what it was the first part of the season then it will take pressure off our defense a little.

Murph seems to be content with trying to play small ball, but the game has long since evolved to move away from that. Saban was able to adapt and move to more of an RPO/spread offense, and Murph needs to evolve as well.
You can't expect the pitching staff to shut teams out EVERY game and then score runs by having the best hitter on the team put down a sac bunt to move a runner to 2B.

Completely overhaul the way we teach our hitters to approach at bats or you know have any kind of hitting philosophy at all.
Recruit a complete pitching staff instead of having only 4 pitchers on the roster only 2 of which are elite.
Oh and the fact the you think Krystal Goodman had the best stuff on the pitching staff last season should completely disqualify you from being allowed to post about Bama softball.

what do Oats. Bo and Murph have in common this year
All 3 had teams that had an average record in the last month of the regular season compared to the early part of SEC play and shite the bed in post season. Will Bo follow suit and be sent home early.
Of course Murph's team will still be playing in regionals but if hitting is as weak as it has been lately then we will get beat by a weaker team with one super pitcher.

This why I can't take you seriously. Fouts and Kilfoyl were both head and shoulders better than Goodman last season. Her stuff was exceedingly average at best.
