Has anyone credible made a prediction about our class yet?

Nah, not that I am aware of. Would be nice if we could get Aiden Sherrell and/or Jase Richardson to go ahead and commit. Feels like we are closest on them imo.

Maybe we can get one of the guys visiting this weekend to pop, but that would be a little surprising.

I got good vibes from Kneuppel's post-visit comments too. Seems like he recognized that he'd have an always on green light here and his parents favor us.

Those 3 plus one of Fland and Philon would be an incredible haul.

Robert Miller III, On3’s No. 40 overall player in the 2024 class, is no longer visiting Alabama this weekend or Texas next weekend, per sources.

LSU and Colorado have each hosted him on official visits.

Trilly says "Just a matter of when for the Tide, per multiple sources." in reference to Sherrell and Alabama. Sounds like a lock, we are just waiting for the announcement.

Preston Murphy’s latest tweet is basically saying Sherrell is a silent commit.

Not a knock on you but it seems like Sherrell has been a done deal for months. Let's get Richardson and Knueppel.

I felt the same way until he cancelled his announcement on August 13th at the eleventh hour. It appears we stuck with him and made sure he stayed on board though.

I think Sherrell has been slow playing us for a while. It's not that he wants to go elsewhere, but if someone else will pay him more he will go elsewhere. There's no sense in hurrying things up on his end. No one has stopped recruiting him, and you never know when someone is going to miss on a couple of targets and drop a massive bag.

I think it may have more to do what he can get from us than the offers he can get from others. Has always seemed ready to commit to us, but is waiting to see if he can get more.

It could also be more of a PT thing if he were to early enroll.

Perhaps. I think we are where he wants to go, but only if it makes sense financially. I suspect an 11th hour bag, asking us if we can do more, and more being found is the explanation for the postponed announcement and then us going back to being in the driver's seat like a week later.

I think Sherrell delayed his commitment to look over G League options, but apparently that may not have been as much as he hoped. Would love to see him - and a point/ combo guard commit. There should be plenty of room for both positions next year.

Still in shock, in 2023, that Alabama basketball is in on it for so many top recruits. Even "fall back" options are players we would kill for just 10 years (or less) ago.
