The guy who mistaken attributed it to has a really strong track record as far as having legit info, so I wouldn't doubt it.

Dude went on a bridge burning speed run. He will not receive the Jalen treatment, nor does he deserve to.

Damn, that's disappointing. Thanks for the info!

So JQ took next year's money and then left?

I figured that was something that was bound to happen. But it's name image and likeness, not pay for play. Not against the rules, but definitely fricked up.

It wouldn't surprise me if they started to become a monthly payments thing instead of a lump sum. Only thing for certain is the NCAA isn't going to fix the problem it's incompetence created.

Most all NIL money comes from outside the school. JQ had contracts with Dunkin Donuts and Cameo, a phone app where you can pay him to wish someone a happy birthday (Montana Fouts is big on there). He can take that money where ever, and those things were around well before Yea Alabama. I saw a Jaden Bradley commercial for Embassy Suites from outside the Tuscaloosa location, but he can take that to some Arizona Embassy Suites. Nobody is paying these guys huge sums up front. Hunter Dickinson, who transferred from Michigan to Kansas said he never got 6 figures of NIL money as he was promised. Doubt JQ got '23-'24 money before he left either. He will get some of the money Mikey Williams would have gotten at Memphis if he had not shot up the car and gotten arrested, facing 28 years in jail.

There was a huge wreck in front of my mailbox today that lasted for hours so I’m assuming that’s why I didn’t receive one. Horrible timing.

A basketball version of the Cape Cod league would be interesting. Mix up the players between teams and have them play on an NBA regulation court with NBA rules.

Watching the Bama-Maryland game this morning and wish like crazy I could go back to that moment.

From the start of the TexAMCC game to the start of the SDSU game…that was the best week+ of my entire life as a sports fan.

People are excited about Estrada and Nelson but I’m calling it right now….Rylan Griffen will be the best player on the team and will be drafted in the 1st round next year

I love Griffen but Nelson will be the first player drafted off this team.

Grant Nelson is just too skilled and he's 6'11!!

I think Rylan Griffen will be the best two way guard/wing player in the SEC this year.

Have you seen any workouts this summer? I missed the team camp mid-day scrimmages this year, and because we don't have a summer trip, no way to see a practice, but I have heard good things about Walters, Estrada, and Wrightsell. Would love to see Rylan take a big step next year. With more strength, he may be our player most suited to step into Miller's wing role next year, shooting, penetrating, passing, rebounding.

The bromance with Pitino is definitely not something I had on my Oats era Alabama basketball bingo card.

It’d be cool for us to schedule St Johns for the Birmingham game.

I'd rather do a home and home since MSG is technically a home venue for St. John's.

Yeah, understand, but I live in Birmingham and have hoped we can get a Big East team in the CM Newton Classic. UConn, Nova, Marquette, St Johns would all be good. I think next year Creighton comes to Coleman.
