That would be an ideal spot for him. Benefit off of LeBron’s playmaking and could really make some money for himself if he could knock down the open 3

I just think he would've been a good fit. Run the floor and plays defense.

...but he's got no shot outside the paint.

Lost? None. As a general rule Alabama gets who we want in state in basketball recruiting. Kobe Brown probably could have provided us some of the interior muscle we were missing last season. We haven't exactly had many "oops" recruiting decisions on in state kids in a while though. Under this staff or previous ones.

In the first season of NIL our Bball recruiting was great, couldn't have asked for more really, we got a top 5 recruiting class and a top 10 transfer in Sears. Welch looks like a perfect 3 and D fit.

Yeah dumb and dumber at it again. Oats didn’t even lose Watford, he was hired a couple weeks before Watford announced his contract signing. Idk man we got JD last year, the top player in the state. It seems like they’re hanging on to a Boogie and Bledsoe narrative from over a decade ago that was never really fair anyway.

Barry Dunning was the top player in the state last year, but signed with Arkansas. But neither us or auburn really went after him. He ended up ranked in the mid 90s on 247. Coming off or highest rated class, it's hard to talk shite about our recruiting. Some morons will still do it. But it's hard.

The last kid from Alabama that we really wanted and didn't get was probably Josh Langford in 2016 unless you think Watford qualifies. We typically get the in-state kids we want.

Akot withdrew from the draft, not sure how in it we are for him, I did notice that Hodgson follows him on twitter.
