Yeah, the media badly wants a "white hope" to emerge in the NBA. It has been...checks notes...5 days since a white player last won MVP.

quote:Dude, you got upset about the midget Avery post and said “Dallas won’t beat GSW lol.” Just because I had said they would. Then I offered a wager since you were so confident, followed by radio silence. Then you called the man who averaged 33 on beautiful percentages and sent the team with the best record in the league home a couple rounds early overrated, and proceeded to call him overweight and inefficient. You got downvoted into oblivion for your silly take and then said you doubt any of us would say this in person like you’re some tough guy.
Wow u know how to twist things around. Wasnt playing internet toughguy. U didnt challenge my opinion u just acted like a child lol

Didnt see anything about a bet... I dont gamble because its degenerate behavior. Im not upset about anything ... Its more comical to watch people come unglued about a 22 year old loudmouth foreign player that makes millions of dollars

Because he’s a great player. It’s his 4th year in the league and he’s supposed to have Bill Russell accolades? The suns were talking so much shite was he supposed to pussy out? You obviously have a bias against the guy cmon he’s a top 5 player stop it.

Being called overrated doesnt mean he isnt a great player. Even people that cover the nba say he whines and bitches alot. Give u an example or 2.. Giannis and Tatum just play and let their game speak, no extra bullshite.
Posted on 5/16/22 at 2:41 pm to TiderinVa
So you have a bias against his personality no biggie, he’s not overrated tho cmon man this is foolishness. Agree to disagree take care

First of all, that's exactly what overrated means. Second, what exactly does whining to the refs have to do with an individual's merits as a player? Tim Duncan is arguably on the all-time starting 5 and, if the refs took his word for it, never committed a foul in his career while being the victim of one on every possession someone got close enough to breathe on him.

I don't even care about y'all's stupid argument, but that's incorrect.
Something could be generally called the #1 best thing, yet if that thing were actually the #2 best thing, it would be overrated. Yet, the #2 best thing would still be great.
Now, continue on with your waste-of-time-offseason arguments.

Something has to pass the time in the off season man.
I’m here for all of it

LeBron is overrated. Derek Jeter is overrated. Aaron Rodgers is overrated. Doesn't mean they suck or aren't great.
It's OK though. English is a hard language to learn. Keep trying.

You can blame Oats for not bringing in any recruits or you can blame our media guys for giving us absolutely fricking nothing. But this is how it's gonna be until we get something. Real fricking chippy.
