I think it’s pretty clear at this point our boosters don’t give af about basketball. Freaking Nevada is outbidding us and they’re just sitting on their hands…we’ve gotta figure out a way to finish strong with these last 2 spots.

In all seriousness, where do we even turn after Jones inevitably makes the literal business decision to get an MBA from Northwestern and Akot opts not to play in college for a 7th year or whatever it would be?

I’ve been saying it Bamafan. Oats and Hodgson have gotten pretty much every recruit they’ve wanted since Nix and Burnett originally went else where….and now all of a sudden we can’t land anyone?
Oats isn’t being given the Funds but we can pay millions for Football transfers. Oats is a really good coach and it’s gonna end up causing him to take another job

Lucas had a visit and there was no talk or report either way until it was announced he’s committing soon, we’ve known he’s leaned Nevada for a while so I don’t know why some of y’all are surprised. If we whiff on Jones I’ll get on the administration doesn’t care about basketball all of our money only goes to football and we have no NIL money for basketball bus.

Might be overlooking the obvious.
Oats had a great year and then had a great recruiting class.
Last year we disintergrated down the stretch and no we are having problems recruiting out of the portal.
Those things could be related.

Once again we were a 6 seed in the NCAA tournament. Take out 2021 and that’s our best season in 17 years.

Jones and Akot are high level players. Akot’s offensive game leaves a lot to be desired but he’s a menace on defense. Selfishly wanted Lucas but if we get Jones and Akot I’m happy
