Agreed - I like that they are cordial and also insane competitiors who want to beat the shite out of each other.

Oh yeah, there is professional courtesy and respect there, but they will both also bury the other whenever they get the chance. The way it should be.

Yeah I think we talk a bunch of trash about Bruce as we should being Auburn’s HC, but I truly bet he’d be an awesome guy to spend time with. Don’t always feel that way about opposing coaches (ie Will Wade), but it’s very understandable why basketball has become so big down there. He produces a great product on the court and is very charismatic and engaged with the fans. Seems like a genuinely nice guy too.
It’ll be fun to see Oats’ and his rivalry grow over the years hopefully as they stay around for many years. I have a strong feeling Bruce will, so more wishing it into existence with Oats as well. Every great rivalry needs it’s counterpart.

Pearl is in his early 60’s. How many years do you want him or does he want himself to stick around? Of course, unlike Jay Wright, Pearl probably likes playing the money games which are such a big part of coaching college basketball these days.
