Makes sense like we just discussed a few hours ago.

Love the guy. Hope he kills it wherever he goes.

When he stayed in the paint offensively, he could make a big difference. Whether by design or personal preference, he floated way too much behind the arc and lost his effectiveness.

Got a feeling the staff is anticipating some serious portal success.

Yeah, portal success is a necessity this year not a luxury. They have to get at least 2-3 major contributors.

In a way we are kind of getting what we asked for. Most of us said how bad the last 3 months were and how rough it was watching our team…well we are definitely going to be watching a new team next year for better or worse.

I like the guy but I'm definitely fine with this move. Feel like the board just manifested this transfer since we just talked about him earlier.

This is exactly what we asked for. I'm very happy with it. As was said, I really like a lot of these guys individually, but the thing didn't work. And a lot of them had very similar skillset.

Great class coming in (Bradley, Miller), a few talented pieces still here (Bediako, Burnett) and a veteran one (Gurley).

It's a pretty solid core to start from and add specific pieces with skillsets for a specific purpose. We have to reel them in, but I feel pretty good about where we are.

Totally agree and I think it will be just as beneficial for him as it is us tbh.

I like the other departures, and would even have recommended a couple others, but I don't like losing a great defender and hustle player. I agree we needed to overhaul a lot of the roster but we have at least two players less worthy of a roster spot IMO.

Who are they iyo - i'm assuming you think Miles is one, but i'm not sure on the other.

The Mitchell's numbers indicate solid defenders and refounders with very little offensive game. I'm sure Muss has a specific idea of how he wants to use them.

I do wonder if this is any indication of what Williams is going to do.

I think Pringle can give us what Gary did for the most part.

Good point - that would make a lot of sense.

I'm not Gurley's biggest fan either. I would have him and Miles on the chopping block before Gary. Clearly Oats sees something in practice that didn't happen during games with him.

Ahh, didn't even think of him since we already knew he was returning, but that makes sense.
