That was kinda the joke. But since everyone else calls him a dumbass, I figured I'd put a twist on it. I'm surprised it took so long for someone to notice the name.

My thought as well Rockiee, but this guy is usually pretty on his stuff. Wouldn’t be surprised if Memphis is trying to get Fedex NIL involved.

They can try. But I doubt it'll show up on time.

Four-star wing Brice Sensabaugh made plenty of waves playing for the E1T1 grassroots organization in the Nike EYBL bubble this summer, and the Florida-based standout is now carrying the momentum he built on the July circuit down the back stretch of his recruitment.

Picking a favorite here is a bit tough, as those close to the situation don’t say much about which way the 79th-ranked Sensabaugh is leaning. What is clear, however, is that at least two non-Buckeye coaches close to process see Ohio State as the slight favorite. Georgia Tech is also thought to be a viable option. Florida could find itself in the thick of the chase if the Gators are able to get Sensabaugh on campus for an official, but that’s not on the schedule as things stand.

The fact that Sensabaugh’s grassroots teammate Bruce Thornton is already committed to the Buckeyes surely helps Chris Holtmann’s cause. Things may hinge on a Sept. 18 official visit, however, as Holtmann and company attempt to solidify whatever slight edge they may hold.

FWIW, I think Alabama is now in great shape with Brandon Miller (just made a CB pick for him to the Tide)

This will be interesting to watch as well. Curtis from our site said that Miller committing to Bama could be enough of an added edge to push Smith to Bama if its close.

Not sure if Smith is going to wait till the 27th to commit to someone though, although I'm sure Smith knows which way Miller is leaning considering their connection.

Where things stand with the 10 best available prospects in 2022

The 2022 rankings have been updated and nine of the 22 five-star prospects have already decided where they will be playing college basketball. More commitments are on the way and as many as 10 could come off the board by the time the first signing period concludes.

Let’s take a look at the 10 best available prospects and where things stand in their recruitment.

quote:

NICK SMITH | NO. 8 OVERALL | CG | NORTH LITTLE ROCK

Newly minted top ten prospect Nick Smith has been very active on the recruiting front over the past month and could be coming to a decision sooner rather than later. He is now down to four programs including Arkansas, Alabama, Auburn and UAPB.

Over the past two months Alabama had gained separation as the program to beat before his official visit to Arkansas this past weekend. Since that visit, it has become a very close race for the five-star recruit with the perceived leaders as Arkansas and Alabama and we will very likely have an answer before the early signing period.

quote:

JARACE WALKER | NO. 13 OVERALL | PF | IMG ACADEMY

Jarace Walker’s recruitment has been fluid behind the scenes and just when it appeared that a decision could be near, things shook up a bit. Walker is down to seven options: Alabama, Auburn, Houston, LSU, Maryland, Texas and the NBA G-League.

Those considered in the past to be at the top are Alabama, Houston and Auburn - in that order. There is a strong draw for Walker to play alongside his high school teammate Jaden Bradley - another top priority recruit for the Crimson Tide. However, Arizona has made things interesting in the Bradley sweepstakes and it appears that things became more fluid with Walker simultaneously.

Alabama still sounds to be atop the list but Houston is not far behind them and it sounds as if a decision isn’t as close as it was previously expected. He has taken official visits to Alabama, Houston and Auburn.

quote:

BRANDON MILLER | NO. 16 OVERALL | SF | CANE RIDGE

Brandon Miller is set to be the one of the next off this list with an announcement scheduled for September 27th. He is down to four options including Alabama, Tennessee State, the NBL and the G League Ignite.

Prior to him cutting his list down to a final four, it was rumored and expected that he would go the pro route but in recent weeks the Crimson Tide had been gaining momentum and have now appeared to have turned the tide. I placed my Crystal Ball in for Miller last night and it won’t be long until we get an official answer out of him.

If Miller does commit to Alabama, he will make for Nate Oats’ fourth class in row with a five-star prospect if you include transferring in Jahvon Quinerly amongst Josh Primo and JD Davison.

So is Arizona following the Penny plan of business as usual since the NCAA has their collective thumbs up their arse? How long has it been since they handed the Will Wade/LSU case off to the special enforcement committee? Just fricking do something or pack up and leave, don't keep pretending you're doing something if you aren't going to police the sport.

Page one has been updated with the 247 Composite rankings changes. Shuffled a couple of things around and we now have target lists for the 22, 23 and 24 classes. I eliminated around eight guys from the 22 list that we haven't heard anything about in a few months. If you see something or someone I missed let me know.

Not a fan of Houston getting the last OV. If I had one criticism of our recruiting so far it's that. We seem to be scheduling visits early.

Man I hope we add Bradley. He is by far the biggest need.

Interested to see if we miss if Nate will add a lower rated HS player or will just fill 2 PG spots through the portal.
