I absolutely think that Oats wanted to both (a) play a great OOC and (b) not have us struggle early like we have in past years.

This schedule gives us a solid 2 weeks and 4-5 games against some good/not great and some downright not good teams to get in a groove and get some in game chemistry before things rev up.

Beautiful work.

Will Colorado St in B'ham be in the season ticket package?

Hate that they won't be in Huntsville this season. I was looking forward to going

I wonder if we'll have a sellout before we get to January?

Just saw the schedule. Hopefully we will be 6-0 going into the Kansas game.

Hopefully can win 2 in the Kansas/Gonzaga/Memphis/Houston stretch....even though I will take 1.

Really no excuse not to start 6-0. We will have much more talent than any of those teams.

Idk...LaTech is a pretty tough game 1. That fat boy they got is gonna give Us problems. Hopefully Tchikou, Gurley, Bediako, and Gary are ready.

South Dakota State is a solid MidMajor, I feel like they are consistently in the NCAAt

Belmont would also be a tough one

Alabama men’s basketball will meet Colorado State this December in a renovated Legacy Arena, and the game will be known as the “C.M. Newton Classic,” the game’s organizer Knight Eady announced Wednesday.

Newton was the SEC’s coach of the year three times during his 12 seasons (1968-80) coaching Alabama. He later served as Vanderbilt’s coach and was Kentucky’s athletic director until 2000. Newton, a member of the Basketball Hall of Fame, died in 2018 at 88.

Alabama? They’ll have another top 10 class, with the potential for a top 4-5, depending on a kid.

Slater

My guess is the kid he is referring to is Brandon Miller. Could be a number of guys though.

Hands down my favorite analyst because of all the stupid gifs and cryptic messages, plus he’s seemingly never wrong.
