Cal has kind of been underwhelming with elite guards in the recent past. I understand the draw of playing at Kentucky and it’s history and blue blood status, but if I’m a guard wanting to go to the NBA?? Oats system is 2nd to none. Back to back lottery picks, 3 drafted in 2 years, and has proven his system will better prepare you for the NBA and is most comparable. Eventually these recruits are gonna stop looking at the name Kentucky and really start paying attention to systems after another strong year from Bama coming up. I’m ready for it

Pretty much anyone that played meaningful minutes in the playoffs doesn't play in the Summer League. Definitely not anyone that is good enough to play in the Olympics. Summer League is for rookies, some sophomores and other fringe type players just trying to make a roster.

Looking at rosters and it was funny seeing a guy like Brandon Knight on there, not sure anyone else on his team has more than 2 years of experience and he has 7.

Blazers have Beasley (11), Kenneth Faried (9) and Emmanuel Mudiay (6).

That's 26 years of NBA experience.

Kel'el Ware commits to Oregon.

Ducks now have the #7 and #34 players committed in the 2022 class.

rockiee, is this a surprise that he didn't end up at Arkansas?

If you asked two weeks ago than probably yes although many were worried about Texas more than Oregon the whole time.

We got the word about a week ago it wasn't going to be us and alot of rumors about why that is but nothing solid. If I had to guess the whole recent NIL and Oregon with the Nike connections was huge. Seems like he was also one of those kids that just wants to get out of the state for w/e reason.

Another Barstool Bench Mob video from when they were on Campus a few weeks ago. JQ and Keon give them a tour of the facilities and they go out on the River with Coach Oats.

Youtube

That was a fun watch, interesting that JQ already knew Shack was coming back.

I also don't like how our guys looked playing Knock Out haha

That's the most Herb Jones stat line I've ever seen. You want that dude on your team.

The official visit season is around the corner for the class of 2022. Brice Sensabaugh of @reale1t1 is headed to GaTech on 8/26 and Alabama 9/10. Indiana and Virginia also involved. He’s unofficially visited Florida and Vandy, too.
