The poster who really loves Darius Miles is gonna get his wish. That dude's minutes just went way up.

That's with Rojas getting a medical?

What's shackelford's deal?

Looking forward to losing Miles to the nba draft after next season.
The GMs will love his wingspan! and youth!

Haven't seen or heard anything about Rojas getting a medical. Last I saw, he had successful surgery and the hope was that he would be able to play at some point in conference play.

Wow, my expectations for next season have gone from expecting to win a National Championship to hoping we make March Madness. Primo AND Shackelford is a lot of firepower. I hate it, but good luck to them.
I think I can now confidently say that I'm not the shittiest poster on this board.

Rumor is he wants to be closer to home.

Post the depth chart now, without those 2, and you’ll see what I mean. Shackelford is the most unfairly treated guy I’ve ever seen on this board. He’s a baller, but you guys act like he’s nothing.
PG: JD Davison
SG: Jahvon Quinerly
SF: Keon Ellis
PF: Noah Gurley
C: Charles Bediako
Bench: Darius Miles, Jusaun Holt, Nimari Burnett, Juwan Gary, Keon Ambrose, Alex Tchikou
Looks like a tourney lock to me.

I think it's the wrong call, but I'd think it's because the kid wants to get drafted.
Only way that happens is if he either proves he can play PG or puts up over 20 a night. With our options, neither of those things are going to happen. He'll need to go to a school that encourages ISO ball or has no legitimate PG option.
He'll have to improve a shite ton either way.
I really hope Shack gives Oats one Hell of a goodbye kiss on Twitter. The dude turned him totally around defensively throughout his 2 years.

Does kinda make you wish this all had happened before we had to let Langston Wilson head elsewhere...

Nope. He can’t play the 2 or 3.

Didn't mean as a replacement for Shack or Primo but as a talented kid with a pretty high ceiling it'd be nice to have on the roster. Not blaming anyone cuz at the time we just didn't have room.

I'm honestly not super bothered by Shack's departure tbh.
He took a lot of shots for a guy only shooting 41% from the field and shooting was really his best attribute probably. He was not a great ball handler, facilitator or defender.
I really believe JD, Nimari and Miles are all very capable of replacing or improving on what Shack provided while also giving us some additional versatility that Shack didn't due to his size, length, athleticism.
Very interested/excited to see who we get to replace him on the roster and wish Shack nothing but the best on his journey.

We still have three former 5 star guards and Keon Ellis who will probably be a draft pick after this year. We are still a top 20 team. Gurley is basically a 6'8 forward/guard, I am sure he will play the 4 a lot.
Quinerly, Davison, Ellis, and Burnett on paper have the potential to be one of the best guard groups in the country.
We are still loaded, we were just ridiculously loaded before, it was gonna be hard to find enough playing time for all our guards if everyone had came back.

mistaken, didn't you say that the guy from BOL also said Oats had someone ready to pull the trigger if we had a spot open up?
That guy saying anything now about who it may be?

yep, thats what ive been trying to say. even without shack this team has so much potential. im glad some people on here get that, and honestly the more ive gone over potential lineups post shack the more intrigued ive become, esp on defense. the fact shack still leaves despite primo going pro shows to me he knows just how loaded this team is regardless. tide is still rolling, book it.

That guy must really have a lot of inside knowledge, I even asked a couple of people who cover Bama basketball as a job if they thought Shack was leaving and they said no.
Sorry I doubted your posts about Shack leaving Mistaken.
