These transfers are crazy. Wonder if we have some unsuspected transfer news soon. I'm fine with Rojas leaving, but don't want to see Ellis, Primo, Shack, JQ, or Gary go

Id say outside of Rojas id watch out for Gary. Im sure he wants to be a wing instead of a undersized big. No inside knowledge just me putting myself in his shoes.

I wonder Bediako looks at the fact that the other big we got from Canada doesnt play and it scares him. Even tho when the kid does play he looks lost as hell.

Not sure why anyone getting real minutes on a top ten team would want to transfer.

East Carolina transfer Jayden Gardner tells @Stockrisers he’s planned an additional two virtual meetings to his busy schedule:

Arkansas’ Eric Musselman and staff will complete one tomorrow night. Pittsburgh’s Jeff Capel and staff will complete one on Friday.

Tons of suitors.

Alabama signee Langston Wilson is going to be a fun prospect incoming for Nate Oats and his staff. Tonight, Wilson finished with 22 points, eight rebounds, and two steals.

Extremely versatile prospect who’s effective on both ends.

Possible? Sure.

But JQ made it pretty clear on Twitter that he wasn't going pro. So unless he changes his mind for some reason, we can expect him back next season.

He’s got a very long list of programs in the hunt.

I saw the Groves kid at Eastern Washington play early in the tournament. He is good. I wouldn't mind landing him if we aren't too far from home. He was on George's Torvik list as well.

But the Pack isn't the only program reaching out for Gardner early on, with the former ECU big man saying other schools that are standing out are Virginia, Alabama, Tennessee, Miami, Notre Dame and Oklahoma State. There was no timetable given after just 24 hours in the portal, but Gardner noted he does plan to wrap things up in three weeks.

This is the only part that's really important.

This doesn't worry me at all. there have been a lot of highly ranked guys who didnt do well their first season at one school, transferred and lived up to their ranking at the transfer school. I think Nimari would do the same.

Quinerly - Villanova to Alabama
Quentin Grimes - Kansas to Houston
Johnny Juzang - Kentucky to UCLA
Davion Mitchell - Auburn to Baylor

All those guys are tearing it up and made the sweet 16 this year.

I would be excited to get him, as I said.

I'm not especially worried about it either. Just stating the obvious - his offensive numbers were bad. But I've said in another thread that I think his FT shooting numbers indicate that he's a guy that should be able to shoot it ok.

It's sort of beside the point, but I remember being impressed with Mitchell at Auburn. His numbers were fairly pedestrian though.

South Alabama already has 4 ex-hi major transfers in

quote:

South Alabama has added four Division I transfers since December: guards Tyrell “Turbo” Jones (Auburn) and Charles Manning (LSU) and forwards Diante Smith (TCU) and Lance Thomas (Memphis). All sat out the remainder of the 2020-21 season after transferring to South Alabama, but are expected to be eligible to play next season.
