I can't wait to watch that kid play. Anytime serious evaluators say things like "unique and unlike anyone I've scouted" - sign me up for viewing.

I'm excited to see how we match up with Gonzaga. Not only for Chet Holmgren, but for Hunter Sallis as well. Oats liked that kid a lot.

The National Basketball Association announced today that 353 players — 296 players from colleges and other educational institutions and 57 international players — have filed as early entry candidates for NBA Draft 2021 presented by State Farm.

Players who have applied for early entry have the right to withdraw their names from consideration for the Draft by notifying the NBA of their decision in writing no later than 5 p.m. ET on Monday, July 19. Under NCAA rules, in order to retain college basketball eligibility, college players who have entered NBA Draft 2021 must withdraw by Wednesday, July 7.

353 total players. Keep in mind only 60 players get drafted.

Lot of dudes going to end up in the G League, overseas, or back to campus.

Arkansas will have two more prospects on campus today as Top-50 junior Barry Dunning will begin his official visit today, he told @Stockrisers. Team commit and four-star junior Joseph Pinion will also be on this visit, unofficially.

Granted, he may have had a setback, but it could easily be the team doctors just continuing to limit his activities. Which they should be doing considering what he's coming back from.

I hope it's not a situation like with Mike Soroka where they had to go back in and clean some stuff up. I'd imagine we would have heard about something like that though. Hopefully it's just the doctors being overly conservative with his recovery timeline.

Well, Bruner did have a knee surgery we didn't know about for several weeks.

Slightly off topic, but wow. Might never see him coaching in college again.

BREAKING: Duke coach Mike Krzyzewski has decided to retire after this coming season, multiple sources told @stadium. Official announcement expected soon. The leading candidate to replace K is assistant and former Duke player Jon Scheyer.

I know he's getting up there in age, but I think this is him realizing that the landscape of college basketball is going to be tilted against him now and deciding to bow out gracefully rather than after 5 consecutive mediocre seasons that tarnish his legacy. Roy did the same thing.

If Bama roughly matches what they did last year, Oats will be cemented as one of the very best coaches in College Basketball. I anticipate that we'll be dealing with rumors every year that he's in Tuscaloosa
