I do feel we could do more on the international side of recruiting.

This doesn't make sense.
If he's so frustrated and it's last year then why did he not take the other jobs last month? Why did he sign extension last year? It doesn't make sense to leave with potential court ruling on NIL that's gonna change some things.
If he wants out, he could've interviewed for NBA jobs and he didn't.

“I have been told” type post need to come with either a by who or a history of knowing this type shite. He literally turned down Texas(with presumably a much bigger NiL budget and a fancy new arena) a month ago.
I’m sure there will come a day where Nate Oats ends up coaching another basketball team at some level, but projecting frustration that he himself doesn’t seem to harbor is wild.
I do also wish we had a bigger NiL budget and our fans, who spend 25 hours a week on messaged boards discussing the teams, $250 on tickets to take the family to see us play Western Kentucky, $35 to park at a church a mile from BDS, $45 on a straw hat to cosplay as Nick Saban, and God knows how much on their mancave at home adorned with elephants carved out of genuine illegally imported elephant tusk they bought at Collinsville Trade Day…
But clutch pearls at the idea of being a small contributor of a collective to hold us over until there’s some regulations put on this shite.

No way I believe this. If he wanted unlimited NIL, he could have had the Kentucky job. I think he will eventually leave for the NBA, but I think that’s several years down the road.

CNO recently said that he expects the revenue sharing that's about to be instituted to level the playing field. He expects that to be really big for us. I would expect this offseason to be the one that affects us the most.Take that FWIW.

And let me say, that’s not even a judgement on people who aren’t part of a collective. Money is tight and we live in strange times.
It’s an indictment against the people who feel the need to constantly grandstand and say “I’ll be damned if I pay a single red cent so a 19 year old can play football at a college I spend hundreds of hours a year discussing and ignore my wife 15 weekends a year to get drunk and watch”

I've said plenty of times that I think this off-season is an anomaly. NIL has grown exponentially, to the point I think we'll see the scales tip back to more realistic numbers.

Nate Oats will never leave this university. He actually tells Byrne to give him less NIL to work with. Come to think of it, he actually has a caricature tattoo on his lower back of Greg Byrne smoking a cigar and saying "You're my b****" signaling his commitment to the university.
Now you've been told otherwise.

All these players that Bama are getting are extremely talented but they need to be developed in some area just like all players.
Aden Holloway can and has already ran the point position but why do you think that he can't get better? Mark Sears ran point with no RIGHT HAND so I'm sure Aden Holloway can run it just as good as Sears did.
Wrightsell will be fine!
I don't look for Philon to return. He wants to be in the NBA regardless.
I mean I get it Coach Oats being frustrated with certain stuff but my thing is...Why cut and run? Like develop the talent you have and win with those guys. The play style will always draw the right players.
We will be just fine though.
When this team is better than last seasons team...I'm a laugh my arse off.

The only thing that has been saving me from melting that we missed out on Coawrd was getting Rylan….if we are missing on both it’s time to worry. We don’t have anybody who can play the 3.

We might have someone else they're targeting

I’m just worried we aren’t giving Nate enough $$$ to get the kids he wants. And it’s pathetic if we aren’t. Plain Pathetic

they should be worried about is who's the new assistant coach going to be...and hopefully it'll be somebody who can teach TEAM DEFENSE!
Brian Adams is responsible for defense unless Nate is planning on making a change, so I would assume the new assistant will be more focused on offense like Pettway and Panone were.

I'm damn sure not going to melt if Rylan doesn't come here. I'd prefer we find someone else to bring in. He decided he didn't want to be here. Good luck as far as I am concerned.
