Which one of Mo, Reid, or Stevenson do you hope stays? I think one or two of them will probably enter the portal.
Mo is the most important player to keep for next season. Reid has the highest potential out of all of them. In the end, Stevenson is probably the one most likely to enter the portal since he's a similar type of player to Bowen.
Transfer portal prediction
1. Stevenson
2. Stevenson & Reid

He has good off-the-ball movement. He’s not a great defender, but he has a high basketball IQ.

Liking how we're reforming the front court. We're going to be BIG but also stretch the defense with shooters at every position.

I'm lowkey stunned at how many players on the court will seemingly be 40%+ from 3pt.

Seems like it will be another team that ought to be able to score with ease but defense is a work-in-progress.

Given TBB's commitment, I have a hard time seeing Mo D coming back. Jemison has a very similar size and skillset and I see him playing a good bit in that big 3 / small 4 slot.

Sucks big time. He was the hardest worker on the team. Figure there was another shoe to drop after the Bol Bowen news.

Hate it but I'd rather have Reid than Mo D given that TBB changed the minutes dynamic. Reid has a higher ceiling.
(I'm probably speaking the Reid portal tweet into existence huh?)

Staff must have felt Mo was leaving though. No other reason to be on Chest.

Wouldn''t think we're taking TBB and Chest, right?

quote:You need at least 4 frontcourt guys. If Mo is leaving and the staff thinks Jemison is marginal or more of a big wing than a true 4, we definitely need another piece.

I know I've already hurt a lot of feelings about Mo, but he just wasn't a perfect fit for Nate's system. He could contribute, and at times he brought something our other guys didn't have. But, there's a reason the unskilled motor guys (Galin Smith, Juwan Gary, Pringle, Mo) don't stay. It's because they don't fit the system well enough to guarantee them playing time, or, these days, NIL money.
