I mean, from everything I read he isn't really a UK fan so I don't think there's anything for them to be disappointed about like we were with Benedict Watford.

Expect the fact that he's a legacy, who's dad and granddad were Kentucky guys. His dad is a former all SEC defensive linemen at Kentucky and his grandfather spent years working in the athletic department.
On paper, you'd assume he was a Kentucky lock. But i think his family also knows this is a business, and hopefully his career path. And they're obviously looking at it from a business perspective, not an emotional one. And for a 3 point sharp shooter with NBA dreams, we are one of the best options in the country.

Yeah, on paper definitely. I'm just saying that according to him he was more of a UNC fan despite how he grew up, so that's who should be more disappointed.

"Back in the day", I would be happy to have two or three Alabama basketball players that I always looked forward to seeing and knowing they would be there in clutch moments. On very rare occasions, would all 5 be awesome and what great years those were. Never in my wildest dreams would I ever have imagined 14 players being capable of playing that role! I cannot wait to see Sears, Wrightsell, Nelson, Youngblood, Omoruyi, Stevenson, Reid, Philon, Holloway, Dioubate, Sherrell, Cunningham, Mallette, and Harrell in action... All 14 of them! Roll Tide!

Jasper Johnson. Should have been a UK-UNC battle but Alabama and Oats are the favorites now.
I did see on another board (who knows the credibility) that UNC upped their NIL offer and that's why JJ hasn't committed to Bama yet.
