Sounds like Cliff has the same on-court mindset as Pringle, as far as playing D, getting boards, and being the a high effort guy. But he has a better skillset and more confidence with the ball. I love the way he palms the ball and attacks the rim.
Aiden Sherell is going to benefit greatly from going against Cliff in practice. Our football team under Saban always had tremendous competition in practice. Now our basketball team has reached a level that will allow the same type of proximal development. The young players are really fortunate to be able to have such high quality teammates. How many times did we see a freshman come in and instantly be the focal point of the team? This is a much better setup for guys to learn, grow, and thrive.

He has infinitely better hands and consistency than Pringle. Nothing against Pringle. He gave it his all in the tournament. However, he had cinder blocks for hands. It was brutal watching him try to catch the ball and go up clean on the interior.

“See what you’ve got here brother is the New World Organization of Alabama Basketball. And as far as I’m concerned Bruce Pearl, that kid on Vandy that Oats shoved, and all you fans can STICK IT”

Judging what I've heard from Rutgers fans, I don't think that is going to change entirely. He might find catching the ball easier though since there won't be near as much traffic in the paint in our system.

Nice assessment on the team/practice
But
Aden Holloway is not a better shooter than Latrell Wrightsell Jr.
I'll have to see it to believe it
Heck I don't think he's better than Mark Sears.

Mark shot 29% on threes his freshman year. Latrell shot 36%, then regressed to 27% his second year. Holloway started at 30%, but who knows where he will be as an upperclassman. He is probably not as good now, to your point.

Mark Sears

Sears is not a catch-and-shooter. If he had made more shots and been given a bigger role as a freshman, he might have had a better shooting percentage.

Hard to argue with that logic.

Brandon Miller was selected to be on the Team USA select team, which practices with the main team. They're all young guys who are expected to be on the future of Team USA.
I'm glad to see our national team taking more steps to develop young NBA talent.

There's a few big names on there.

If tweet fails to load, click here. This is football but this sums up Auburn Live. Their “insiders” tell them they are getting everyone and get them excited and then they get pissed when they inevitably don’t land them.

Pistons are so bad that i could see Estrada getting a legit look. He can defintitely score. Just a matter of being able to defend at that level.
Keon Ellis has become a fan favorite for the Sac Kings. Estrada has a different skill set but he has the same heart as Keon. I wish him all the best.

There's a reason he won the most hardhats last season, and got so many offensive rebounds. Dude hustles his arse off. Hopefully he'll get a good look. I know at worst, he'll be in the g league next year.

Oats is correct. I think the future of NCAA basketball is going to see more "football names" in the later stages of the tournament bracket.
I don't think the Holy Roman Conference
is going to die but it is going to get easier for big football schools to maintain veteran laden rosters. We're going to see fewer mid-major upsets and more deep runs by schools with name brand value to a football fan.
