I never thought I’d ever be more excited for basketball season than I am for football season… well here I am ready for basketball season to start right now. All those rock fights we watched a decade ago and the decade before that are a distant memory. All worth it to be a fan of this right now.

I was there for Gottfried’s last game vs Kentucky. He signed a “Gottfired Nation” poster. Chris Stewart too. I was there day one for Grant. Got him to sign an Alabama hockey poster as Mal Moore tried to run interference
If Stevenson comes back later tonight, this registers as a day to remember for the program. The expectations are high but this is incredible. Through Gottfried, Grant and Avery - I could’ve never imagined Bama basketball fans having it this good. Get the arena built and keep Oats as a high priority. Schools will come calling and it’s up to the powers that be to keep building the program - facilities, NIL funds - to assure that he stays.
