but Zvonimir Ivisic from UK is very similar, and I would love to see what he could be here.

Just landed at arkansas. Curious to see how 2nd ear helps him.

Your opinion is fricking stupid

I'd normally think that's pretty harsh of you. But it was a pretty fricking stupid opinion.

Knowing people from around that area, i bet Oats calls himself an a-hole. I've heard a few Wisconsin/Metro Chicago types who say exactly they. But what they really mean is they like to cut through the bullshite and aren't afraid to say exactly what they mean and think. And there's something respectable about being blunt. I used to joke with a coworker that he's a friendly a-hole.

How do you know Oats has alot of money to play with this off season? Did you read that, word on the street, or just assuming? I'm curious

One of the predominant rumors when Oats said he had no interest in the UK job is that he leveraged it for a significant bump in NIL funds from boosters among other things.

Not going to lie, I'm jealous. Also can't wait to see how he's looks now that he has a coach that will play the... Wait. Nevermind

In all seriousness, I think he had the talent to be a lottery pick in this year's class if Cal played him more. Props to Big Z for showing his coach a lot of loyalty despite being given more reason not to than most of these transfers have.

Yeah I mean if you just ignore his recruiting track record and the fact that everyone gets hit hard by the portal now it's certainly an opinion you could reasonably arrive at. But you can't just ignore those things.

Oats: takes program to first ever Final Four.

Fans: I bet no one likes to play for him.

Make it fricking stop.

OK yeah I heard the same thing. I didn't know if anyone found proof of this or not. I really hope it's true. It would be cool to get an elite guy out of the portal. Like a top 5 guy. Boogie Fland would be a huge pickup as well.

Pretty wild stat: With Pat Kelsey and Mark Pope hired in the State That Scott Drew Rejected, this is the first time since March 26, 1978, that neither Kentucky nor Louisville are led by a coach with a national championship on his resume.

Pretty wild indeed.

Nope. And one thing but often mentioned, is just because someone left, doesn't mean we didn't have an opportunity to keep them. No doubt there's tampering.

So let's say Griffen might've said I need $XX to stay, because that's what he was offered from Tamper State. The staff obviously knows what guys are getting and expecting, and decided that at $XX, they find someone better for less.

There's a reason you don't want to get into huge bidding wars, it eats the rest of your budget. And is one get is getting a ton, and the rest of the team a fraction, you can end up with resentment and chemistry issues.

So the coaches are doing a dance. A horribly organized, crooked as hell dance. But still a dance. Overall, they've done a great job of navigating the shitstorm.

This actually doesn't even do him justice. Check out his film...

LINK

He's 100th percentile for catch and shoot, at 83% effective FG %.

96th percentile for spot up @ 1.47 ppp

93rd percentile for as the off screen handler at 1.15 ppp

91st percentile shooting off screens at 1.42 ppp

97th percentile in transition at 1.67ppp

Those numbers are completely insane. And is he's been a 6th man for multiple years in the A10 and wants to transfer up, he's probably wants to win. He's not going to transfer to a contender and expect 30mpg. Even if his defense sucks, someone like that can have a vital role.

That D has to be bad. I guess he had a leg injury last year. Not sure if that slowed him down. Definitely didn't hurt his shooting. But this is a tweet i found from a Dayton fan...

If Koby Brea stays 1 more year and improves his defense. I think he can be a 2nd round pick in the NBA Draft.

So yeah, he may be a bit of a turnstile. But he did play almost 30mpg last season, so I'm not sure what the exact story is.

Have we discussed Kai Spears’ scholarship yet? I assume that it was a 1 year deal. Otherwise that’d be pretty bad roster management

Yeah it was just for the spring semester. When they need it, he won’t be on scholarship any longer.
