Nah. A coach can only do so much bro. Herb Jones proved that last year that it doesn't fall on the Coach. When you have that ALPHA leader that doesn't tolerate complacency then we wouldn't be having up and down effort games. You had guys jumping down people's throat last season. You have none of that now.

They had the easiest schedule in conference. If they don’t win the SEC with this team against that schedule…it’s a failure

My only complaint with Nate today is why didn’t he play Holt more? Holt is very good defensively

Davidson destroying a respectable St. Louis team at half. Man, our schedule was just crazy! We thought getting Davidson was a bit of a breather given how well CSU was playing, and turns out they were the better team all along. Even with all the ups and downs, you have to say that this team has definitely earned the bid they are going to get on Selection Sunday!
ETA: lost in the shuffle today is that the team only had 9 turnovers the whole game against a decent defensive team that only got called for 7 fouls the entire game…7…the whole 40 min (and it was a fast paced, high possession game).

When top two offensive players don’t take the bull by the horns in game after game , you cannot win , especially against top teams. Shack and Q have not shown up against top competition too many times. Hence they cannot be effective leaders

No, it could definitely be better. But I understand their is always a media timeout right around the cornerand he is trying to save his TOs for end of game situations

Hear you on hoping the TV timeout comes soon, but how many times have we ended games with TOs still on the board. Heck, he didn’t even use one to get JQ off the floor for the last defensive possession against Arky. The game has to be close at the end for the TOs to matter anyway, so I’m hoping he learns the “stop the momentum” concept in the VERY NEAR future. But I won’t hold my breath

Now he did frick up today. You lose a timeout at half anyways so he should have used one to prevent that 13-0 UK run to end the half

We need to go out and hire some damn defense coach that can teach these guys and get them to commit to playing D. It’s frustrating
