Yes! Gurley was having a field day. Bediako didn't play as physical today kinda wished he would of.

In the last few games, Gurley has actually looked best doing post moves. Probably wouldn’t hurt to run it every once in a while down the court to change things up, especially during a cold snap.

Bediako has just gotta be a man. Probably will be next year before we see it but would love for it to happen this year

Hard for me to be too upset under the circumstances. UK hit everything they put up, contested or not. Game was called to heavily favor UK play style, on top of getting a favorable whistle.
The rebounding issues were bad, but it doesn't help that they were allowed to be as physical as they wanted to be. Tshiebwe uses his body well, but could've been fouled out in a regular game strictly on rebound-related plays. The fact that it was still a single-digit game despite all that is pretty insane.

I know it's a feeble request but it'd sure be nice to see Keon make the decision to be a dude down the stretch.

LACK OF EFFORT TO DEFEND
I honestly didn't see much of this. We forced them into shots we wanted them taking (tough twos) and had a hand in the face on most of their 3pt attempts. They just hit everything. At two crucial points in the game they banked in a long jump shot.
The rebounding needs to be better, but Tshiebwe has been doing this to everyone which is why he may win the Wooden award. When he is allowed to be as physical as they allowed him to be, they will beat anyone in the country.

Inexcusable for him to turtle in the last 30 minutes of the game like that. I still think he's our best overall player, but he's way too passive at times when his team needs him.

Ky no point guards so why didn't we press most of game to wear them out?

We're a bad pressing team (at least in certain lineups) and their off guards are not bad ball handlers. Grady was a PG for 2 years at Davidson.

It actually helped them. It got the ball in Grady’s hands more and he had a career game

Nate just doesn't like to press, though we seem to be pretty good at it. I think in his head, he doesn't want the opposition to be able to get quick buckets, because it limits our ability to run the ball on offense. However, I would like to see more pressing as well, especially when we were closing the last 5 minutes of the game. No reason to hold anything back there.

The main reason they got back into the game was because we didn't defend well and free throw shooting. Help side was late as usual. The second half...Keon, Gurley, & Jusuan defended well that's it. Shack was flopping instead of defending and that hurt us a couple times.

Selling contact is not a flop. That was 100% a push-off. That gets called anywhere else.

We seem to do well with it when we finally use it. It doesn't always result in steals, but it gets us into running more. I'd argue this team might have won 2-3 more games this season if they decided to press sooner instead of waiting too late.

Oats said in his post game presser...even though they was hitting shots in the first half..he told them that they would get BEAT unless their defensive effort gets better and it did not. We have no LEADERS on this team. Guys not playing with MAX EFFORT is inexcusable.

Shack flops a lot bro hate to tell you.

Auburn's recent struggles away from home catching up with them.

This team is so bi polar. We looked great the first half. Second half looked like the worst team in the SEC. We can blame lack of leaders, but at the end of the day.. it falls on the coach to identify, build, and encourage those leaders.

This Tide hoops team has ZERO meaningful leadership. That is the only consistent trait they’ve displayed all season.
