The worst part of this stretch of JQ has been his over-assertiveness down the stretch and bogging down the offense. This offense is at it's best when we are driving and kicking and using pump fakes to break down the defense. While I often wish JD would look for his own shot more, I'm also less worried about the ball sticking when he's leading the offense.
Part of the reason JQ is struggling with his shot this year is because he's doing A LOT more ball-handling. Getting him more off-ball looks should help his confidence and draw the defense outside enough to where his blow-by dribble becomes easy again. After the last few games, this seems like a pretty easy decision to make.

This week has been pure HELL 
went to the Bama-Auburn game and got sick. Been sick the past 2 days and that’s why I’m up this early. Just woke up outta nowhere bc I feel horrible. Then on top of that I gotta deal with the national title loss and 3 straight basketball losses AND Auburn being the best team in the country while we have a bunch of guys who don’t wanna be out there (besides Rojas). Rant over

As weird as it is……. This thread is it’s own being. Chad guides us, but we morph into this unhappy bitch. We argue with each other, we disagree and agree with each other. We fricking get our hearts ripped out and virtually hug each other. This thread is about us being happy, unhappy, disagreeing and just wanting to sit here and bitch with other unhappy people that want better, and deserve better. "This was a tough loss, but you have to give them credit. I thought rebounding was a big difference down the stretch. We were down by one rebound at the under-eight media time out and then after that we got outrebounded by 12. We also had only give up eight offensive boards and they had nine more o-boards. That's really what the game came down to. I think they came into the game 15th in the nation in offensive rebounding rate and we ended up giving them 49 percent of their misses. It's hard to win a game when they are getting half of their missed shots. We have to have guys step up there and get a rebound. I think they had four o-boards in one possession. We need to have some toughness about us and we need it for 40 minutes. We have to start playing better, especially on the tough stuff."

If we shoot 30 3’s make 12-13….even 10 would be ok

that added to the other team getting Offensive rebounds is the issue? I just dont see a team with heart and passion and there does not seem to be a total team sense of urgency even though a player or two has it.
Oats seems to be frustrated. Is there anyone that would be considered a team captain? On the FB team you always can figure out who the Alpha dogs are. Does this team have one. Herb was ours last year
