Shack and Q a combined 4/16 from the field and 1/8 from 3 PT

They’re the only two that can create their own shot. Shack doesn’t create good shots, but he’s never met a shot he didn’t like. Just a flawed basketball team that’s highly undisciplined. Really reminds me a lot of oats first team offensively without the quick trigger. Completely out of control in transition and thoughtless in the half court. This group will pass up a good shot and settle for a bad one. We really need Bediako to develop offensively and be a liable post option if we’re going to play how oats wants to play on the perimeter.

To beat the best teams our best players have to play an outstanding game. This type of offensive effort won't cut it.

It's just frustrating because you know what they are capable of when they free themselves of second guessing and overthinking. They've done earlier in the year and they've done it late in games we've trailed when they have to score quick and the pressure is off.

And then we get back into the normal flow of a close game and they totally forget it and go right back to the other shite. The offense creates a good look and we pass it up. The offense creates a mismatch and we dribble out of it. The offense creates a skip pass opportunity and we just hold onto the ball. We just make everything so difficult by seemingly refusing to just play free and fast.

An undersized post guy coming off an ACL isn’t going to do anything for this squad. The dude was barely a role player last year. He’s Reggie Rambo.

Auburn is shooting 14% from 3 and 67% from FT and is beating our arse. Incredible.

Yea Rojas would be nice to add for a few fouls, some toughness and 8 minutes a night but he solves none of our other major issues.

Unless you think that Rojas shooting more of those broke arse corner 3's is some sort of a solution.

They are a pretty damn good team without him. He makes them a NC contender

Well I admitted I’m just going off tonight which is the first time I’ve been able to watch them.

Shack goes to sleep too much and JQ just got to force the ball to go in.

Positives: JD, Gary (Foul Trouble), Gurley, Bediako, & Holt.

Holt is a better defender than I thought and he needs more minutes. His shot will come and yes he always had that weird release. He just got to get comfortable similar to Dontaie Allen from Kentucky.

Would like to see a lineup of

Q
Keon
Gary
Gurley
Bediako

Some in the second half. If we’re going to be intent on playing at the rim let’s get guys in there that can finish or draw a foul, not get their lunch packed.

Auburn isn’t crashing on the dribble drive so it’s pointless having miles or shack standing on the perimeter being guarded

Yeah, Pearl did a pretty incredible job building this roster with a mix of recruiting and the portal. Not really all that different strategically from what we've tried to do imo.

This was a master class job by Pearl though.
