We don’t beat Gonzaga without Shack, but we aren’t beating anybody with him playing like he has been the last few weeks.

Shack is a rhythm shooter and nothing else. He can’t create his own shot, and the few he makes at the rim are nullified by the turnovers and Hail Marys. He’s a defensive liability and a bad passer.

Maybe they'll squeak into the NCAA tournament and suddenly get hot somehow...but yeah, forget about winning the SEC. Auburn just had better players...but it'd be nice to at least make layups under the basket. Does anything good ever come from driving to the basket? Usually miss the shot or turn it over...be better off just taking a 3 every trip down at this rate.

With Herb, it would be even harder to score. Pencil in 9 more missed layups tonight if Herb is there

Shack is worthless in games like this. Auburn’s one short dude will be guarding Q or JD, and he can’t get a shot off against a 6’6” guy sticking to him.
