The thing with Shack is that there are two versions of him and it's like he just doesn't want to fully embrace the better one. The version of Shack who shoots 3s and picks and chooses his spots to attack the paint is a fantastic college 2 guard. The version of Shack who lowers his head and blindly drives into traffic a dozen times a game is a mediocre volume scorer who stops the ball and bogs down the offense.

He was a freak athlete much like JD. Obviously, JD is the much better player, but Hillman was a similar height and could throw down some monster dunks too.

I think we whipped Florida in Coleman wearing the home version those uniforms. That 2 game stretch of Tennessee and Florida in Coleman was epic

I'm so glad we play a fast and loose style of basketball. UTk and Texas Tech are both good teams but this game is making my eyes bleed.

TT gets after it on defense. I think Tennessee is a good team but I don’t think they are as good as Alabama, Auburn, or Kentucky...but to be fair I’ve only watched them vs Nova, UNC, and this one

UTk looks very much like they did last year. Slow, good on defense, clunky offense. Basically an Anthony Grant team with 5* guards and a couple of legit P-6 post players.

I think most people knew Bediako was the better option, but you have to admit we could have handled that situation better.

They'd been pretty good offensively until last night. Chandler got in some foul trouble which slowed them down, and they had a very poor shooting night from the 3-point line. The Texas Tech defense was also phenomenal and made a lot of the 3's difficult with their close outs. Still, Tennessee could have won that game with better FT shooting. The Tech offense was somehow worse than the Tennessee offense, but they rebounded and shot better from the FT line.

Correct me if I’m wrong, but it looks like 5 of our next 6 games are Q1 games. That’s insane.

My only times seeing them were last night and part of their game against Nova and they were....not good offensively in either of those games. I know they blasted UNC, but it just seems like it's a major struggle for them to get a good look.

As it currently stands, yes. Five Q1 games and one Q4 game.
