That's where your wrong. The charity exhibition game showed me all I need to know about JD Davison. LET HIM START... He can create for others better than JQ and that's not a bad thing either. We actually need JQ's scoring off the bench.

Some interesting parlay options for the games tomorrow. Not to make the thread any more gambling centric than it’s already been recently, but we don’t get to play a marquee game in football and basketball on the same day often.
Personally, I like the the ML against UGA and Bama to cover against the Zags, so that’s where I’m parking tomorrow. I’m confident that we’ll be competitive in both games and I wish I had the the bollocks to pull the trigger on both ML’s, but deep down, I know that two upsets and a $1300 winner is more happiness than I’m allowed to have in a single day.
Just to be clear, I still think we win them both, but I don’t want to let my greediness jinx anything.

I think JQ and JD are neck and neck in creating personally, but the reason I start JQ is he’s cold from 3 but that’s not going to last forever. JD hasn’t shown me enough in shooting ability to make me feel comfy to start just yet, which is something Oats needs from his guards. If JD could hit the 3 more consistently then I’d be all down for some rotation switches just to see what happens.

JD has done everything he can to impress this far, but he’s still only played 7 collegiate games. For now at least, especially heading into a stretch like we have coming up, I think you have to favor JQ and his experience.
It wouldn’t surprise me to see JD start some games in conference play, but I don’t see him supplanting JQ full time in the starting 5. We thought JQ needed to start last season, but he held down the 6th man role with starters minutes all year. JD seems to be in the same spot.

I’m doing it for the big payout. I doubt it hits, unless we get something going early Georgia’s going to completely manhandle us. Gonzaga’s also a really tough ask but I think it’s worth the price tag. That’s all I’ll talk about with gambling from now on, after seeing some of you post your bets and voice your opinions I now see how annoying that is.

Either we play Gonzaga close and lose in last few minutes or we struggle with fouls and stupid turnovers and lose by 20

JD doesn't have to hit three's to be successful in this offense. JD needs to start because he makes others better around him. He is averaging almost 5 assists per game and he is literally a walking double double. All I'm asking is for everyone to go back an take a look at the charity exhibition game and focus solely on JD mentality when giving the keys to team. He's the ALPHA! His defense still needs work but he needs to start.
