As parting words:

1. No one in 20 years will remember this season as anything more than "an NCAAT appearance"

2. Auburn will lose... probably to Wisconsin

When Nate Oats first got here we was GRAVEYARD DEAD...since him and his guys took over we actually have a standard to live up too which is great! Players from all over the country wants to play in his system but the problem this year was that he didn't have the right pieces to run it. We need SHOOTERS, DEFENDERS, & EXPERIENCE!

Jaelin Llewellyn, Fardaws Aimaq, & Taylor Funk should get calls from our coaching staff immediately.

This team was very inconsistent but they had a good season breaking new records once again and making the NCAA tournament in back to back seasons! I am grateful for that stat alone because I've been here when we was just a skid mark in the road. I still can't believe we beat Gonzaga, Baylor, & Houston either!

I just want to ask one question to the people complaining....Where were y'all when Anthony Grant & Avery Johnson was coaches at Alabama?

I appreciate our guys but sometimes things don't always fall in place so we will bounce back next year and handle business. Prayers up for JQ!

well between the humble pie and oats's diabled son finally being done, i certainly hope so. havent followed the thread but im sure most here know what im saying by that. youre not wrong though, to be in a position to call losing in the first round as a 6 seed a failure of a year is something i never thought id live to see as a bama fan so, good to see the faith in oats here is still stable enough. will look forward to the bounce back.

Yeah I don’t think Arkansas has enough offensively to hang with Gonzaga

On This Date in Crimson Tide History

March 20, 2004: Alabama basketball defeated top-seeded Stanford in second round of the 2004 NCAA tournament, 70-67, to reach the Sweet 16. Kennedy Winston scored 21 points, Earnest Shelton 14 points, and Chuck Davis and Antoine Pettway each added 12.

it hurts me to think about the talent that could have been on one team if no one left early.

edit: I mean in the early 2000s. The names from that 04 team made me remember.

Talent wasn't the issue.

Houston has had a great run. Now three straight Sweet 16’s and a Final Four last year.

Sucks not to be watching Bama play right now. On to next year, hope Oats gets the right group to make a great team again.

Does anyone else think Avery Johnson sounds a little bit like Tyrone Biggums from Chappelle’s Show?

Aubie continued there late season tail spin.

ut sucked as usual in the tourney.

Uk choked.

Leaves Arky who no doubt will get blown out in their next game.
