I think you play him straight up as well and let him get his but limit everybody else on Purdue's team.
We would have to rebound and get out an run against them for sure.

If you play him straight up the whole game, he will score 50 and Chuck’s going to foul out in the first half. You will have to mix it up and hope for an off shooting night for their shooters. That, and make 16 3s and score 85 points.

I haven’t watched enough of Purdue this year to know how the rest of their team fares, but I think you would have to get creative to effectively guard him.
If he’s got the ball, good things happen for them, so attempt to limit his possessions as well as you can. Collapse on him when you have to, because nobody is defending him straight up. If you foul him, make sure it counts. I’m fine with the rest of their team beating me, but damned if he’s going to do it singlehandedly without feeling any pressure.

In all honesty though.
I probably would gamble a little bit and run.
Bradley, Sears, Griffen, Miller, & Clowney and tell them to run them to death.
Edey is going to get his versus this lineup but we will get ours if we rebound on a miss and run the floor in transition.
Hopefully it'll drain his energy.

Think it was Chad that said it best awhile back, I don’t want to see Purdue unless it’s in the NC game. We need to be locked in every game and earn a #1 seed on the opposite side of the bracket.
Side tidbit: he plays the most min per game for Purdue at 31.3. Chuck’s at 20.2 min/game for us.

The only game they lost was against Rutgers, I watched the highlights. They doubled and trapped the guards all game and it was hard to feed the big man with a good pass. I think we have enough bodies to do that and not wear out.

How’d we not get Jaren Holmes out of the transfer portal? He is literally from Rommulus Michigan, I know he played there after Oats left but still. He is lighting up Kansas today, he’s probably Iowa States best player this year.

I don't either but Auburn could drop their next two before facing us very easy (@ Tenn, @ Aggie). That wouldn't be great for confidence.
