Defense and boarding in this game were great. Offense is uh not that. But Id rather the first thing be good over the other at this point. Good win and good luck to my hometown Jags the rest of the way

Well defense played well and the offense will see much better days. Rebounding was awesome. 3-0 feels good.

Everybody stop complaining about our shooting when yall heard the sound that rim was making once the ball hit it. LOL

This was a game we lose 9/10 times last year. Offense will come around. Defense and effort was great again.

The 7-footer gave us problems. Don’t think we completed a single lob attempt. Fortunately JSU’s starting post guy is 6’9”

I’m really interested to see how Nate cuts the rotation down. All 12 guys can play. I honestly don’t know who you cut out.

Gotta disagree with you here Joka. A true shooter doesn't need a friendly rim. Case in point - Miller 4-9, 44% from 3. Sears 2-4 50%. The outlier is Griffen who I believe is a good shooter going 0-4.
On a side note, I believe Burnett's issue right now is just confidence. I would equate it to a hitter in baseball that is in a slump. As a former college shortstop, I know how a slump can get in your head. He just needs to see a couple fall.

Yeah their 7 footer was legit. We probably could have worked a little harder to get him in foul trouble.
But it was a good team game. Everyone gave effort. Offense got sloppy but that will get better. They've shown they can play good offense in spurts and they've shown they can play consistent defense. That will win a lot of games.
Lots of good players on this team. Miller is elite. The coaching staff has a lot of pressure to figure out how to use these pieces. I expect Welch and Miles will get minutes too. Defense and 3 point shooting will be the key to playing time.
Good guard play is going to be the key for this team. We've got all that length but we have to have some facilitators. UK has had a bunch of teams lately with incredible size and less than stellar guard play.
