So we have like 115 rebounds in 2 games. Both were against smaller teams, but that didn't stop us from getting wrecked last year. These dudes are scrappy on the boards. Sears especially.

Very nice performance tonight. Good shooting bounce back. 40+% from 3 will get it done! Only 2 negatives and they are nitpicking, bad assist to TO ratio and Big Charles needs to be more of a factor on the offensive end.

Nate Oats mentioned that three different A-Sun teams have already beaten high-major teams this season.

Liberty was picked to win the A-Sun.

If we make progress with cleaning up some of our mistakes on defense, this could be an elite team on that end by the end of the season. We have the personnel to match up with just about any type of team.

I can't remember a tide team with so much length and athleticism. Really like all the post players we have. They all bring a little something different on the offensive end but none of them seem scared.

Also really like what I saw from Jaden Bradley. If he can become a good shooter he is going to be a really nice piece for us. Not sure who he reminds me of yet but he looks bigger than I expected.

Is Sears the alpha?

It was only Liberty but the defense looked much more composed than anything I remember from last year. It felt like 5 guys playing defense tonight. Last year it felt like nobody could ever stay in front of the ball.

With all the new players and this good start to the season, it brings to mind a term usually reserved for fantasy football - rosterbating. That's what alabama basketball fans are doing tonight.

Jaden Bradley is a Chris Paul clone just like Chad said. Dude is very smart and crafty but I will say this...the little freshman guard (Colin Porter) from Liberty is cold too. Dude got that Steve Nash type vision.

But our guys are crazy athletic and if WE can put it all together then this team could be really special and I'm talking final four type.

Well, he's bigger than CP3. I don't really see that comp. But he does seem to play smart and work as a facilitator. CP3 is one of the craftiest PGs I've ever seen. If Bradley is half of that as a PG then he will be hard to keep off the court.

This team is playing like the 20/21 team (winning with defense, and blowing people out when offense clicks), but with NBA talent.

Damn I'm gonna get my hopes up about this team. This just feels different

It's hard not to smile watching it, seeing them up 35 and still hustling on defense. Especially after seeing the team give up to end last season.

That was a great game. We beat the hell out of them and I took my son to his first game and he made it the entire time without any sort of meltdown. Wins across the board
