Will the university offer tournament tickets to season ticket holders?
They have in the past… but if Bama ends up in Birmingham demand will be high so I’m not optimistic they’ll go too far down the Tide Pride list. Some (other) teams may return tix so additional tix may become available that way as well. I’m trying to remain calm and focus on Vanderbilt. Still, from time to time I find myself wondering, is this really happening?

I said earlier in the season that we protect the ball like a 4 seed that gets upset by a 13 seed in the first round and do everything else like a Final Four team. And now here we are. If we protect the ball it's a championship caliber roster.

under 10 in TO's will win a lot of games verse 18-22 like earlier in the year. Same guys on the court so what is the difference?

JQ isn't playing as recklessly as he had been in our OOC games, Bradley has become more comfortable with the speed of the college game, and we have kinda found the happy medium between playing fast and playing out of control.

UConn has fell off a cliff
They're still #5 on NET rankings. As long as they top 50 and in quad 1, I'm fine with their collapse.
Edit: holy shite. Uconn lost again? They've now lost 4 of their last 5. Damn, we caught them at the wrong time.

Incredible turnaround. Hopefully this is who we are now.

Just a really fun time to be a Bama basketball fan.
Several years ago, I used to put in for the final four lottery every year. I got them twice over a few years (NO and Dallas). Saw Kentucky win it all in NO as a 1 seed and then saw the unique 7 seed Uconn win over 8 seed KY. If we hadn’t played UConn this year, I would have been fine with both of those falling off a cliff!
My wife asked me yesterday if Bama makes the final four if we are going. I’m hoping to be kicking myself late March for not putting in for the lottery, but I’m fortunate we jumped on Bham when we saw the games were here. First 2 rounds are just too much fun to miss in person!!

Just one random fan's opinion, but it comes down to a couple of things.
First is JQ. He's had 3 turnovers in the last 4 games. He was averaging over 3 a game in all the others.
Second is as a group the freshmen are adjusting to playing against a higher level of competition. Even guys as good as Miller have to adapt when they're facing D1 level defenders every single game.

One added bonus of games like yesterday is that Bama had 10 guys play at least 15 minutes and nobody had more than 24 (Miller). Hopefully Bama’s great depth plus really controlling a lot of games early will keep minutes down and prevent the freshmen in particular from hitting that wall we see for first year guys in Feb/March. Hopefully Oats can manage this to both develop the optimal rotation for tournament time and also have everyone as fresh as possible.

Loving the early sellouts. Coleman is old and needs to be replaced, but that place can still get loud as frick with a big crowd.

Moved to #4 on KenPom pending the last game today.

I need Ken to explain to me how his algorithm determines that #58 offense + #1 defense + #61 SoS > #12 offense + #8 defense + #2 SoS. Because I'm just not understanding it at this point. UTk is still ahead of us in NET too despite playing 2x as many Q4 games and us having 2 more Q1 wins than they have total Q1 games played.
