No. He very clearly has something against him. Probably the fact that the best player in the SEC isn't on either of his two favorite teams, who we have coincidentally played against the last two games while he was on the broadcast for both.

He's been surprisingly good. I expected him to be more of a role player type, but he's honestly one of our most valuable players.

The Muss press conference shows how little of analytics that he actually knows. Either that or he is a total troll. Complaining that they should have had more FTs when they took far less 3FGA is hilariously shallow stat glancing at best. That is some shite that fans always pull, but is comical coming from a D-1 head coach. Midrange pull-ups have just as bad of a FT rate as 3FGA, and they took a bunch of them. It's one of the reasons midrange shots are so frowned upon by analytics. It's not high percentage, worth less points, and has a horrible FT rate.
Not to mention, pointing to FT disparity like that when your team gave up 25+ points off turnovers is setting a horrible example for your players.

I was thinking he'd be more along the lines of Shack with a better handle. I did not think he'd be nearly this good at getting into the lane and scoring around the basket in half court sets against this level of competition. He's incredibly crafty in the paint.

Man what a game last night. Beating Muss is always fun, but blowing his team out AT their place is amazing. He wanted to cry in that press conference
