Kind of the whole point of the message board. We can't do anything about any of the things we talk about really. Nothing wrong with discussing it.

No disrespect intended (because I get what you're saying), but actually we can.

We're the ones who spend our money to support this program.

I'm tired of TP/CTF donations, and ticket costs, and parking fees, and $20 nachos, and hey, now we need money for NIL — and nothing ever changes, while we just sit here and watch them drop $150m on the new Tut and $100m on BDS.

Before the Houston game you could have gotten a ticket to Gonzaga for $30. Now the getting in price is $90

Truth. I actually got my ticket for less but with fees it came out to be $30. Looking forward to attending. Hope we can finally break the Bham curse. I will bring my Huntsville winning streak to help out

you guys are right regarding the discussion but if we really mattered, it would've happened by now.

our team is just pretty good too, let's not leave them out.

Never understood that after repeated refurbishings we never fixed the lighting and that ugly ceiling facade. I mean these stand out like sore thumbs to even a casual observer but not to million dollar designers and executives?

The is nothing wrong with the lighting on the court. Its really the same as going to a concert. They put the lights where the action is, and dim them for the crowd. Is it really that big of a deal? When you watch TV, do you want the light bright in the room? I dont. They basically do the same thing in many churches. They put the intense light on the speaker and dim the other lights during the service. When its over they turn them back up.

I don't have a good feeling about this one, the time zone will work against us.

Literally, if we lose I will need to sell my house. I cannot possibly live by my die hard ‘Bama neighbor and listen to her yell “Overrated” over the fence at everything I do. Hedging, throwing the ball with the dog, washing my truck…”Overrated.” It has been a long year.

Does Alabama even have Finals? Or are their grades part of their NIL package?

I know Saban seems to insist on following the rules, but this team isn't coached by Saban. I do know that if they actually do write the English 101 final paper it isn't the rigorous type expected at GU.

They are waaaaaay more confident in Bama winning than I am

I do love how early the game is for them. West Coast NFL teams statistically underperform in noon games on the East Coast

quote:

The table below displays ATS records for Pacific Time Zone teams, coming off an ATS victory in their most recent game, dating back to 2005:

Mountain Time Zone 6-8 (42.9%)
Central Time Zone 16-26 (38.1%)
Eastern Time Zone 16-38 (29.6%)

I was going to post the same thing. At least by NFL experience, the time zone concern is legit.

Their internal clock is going to tell them the game's tipping off at 10 AM.

Didnt we go to Seattle and beat them last year despite the time zone? Sounds like they're getting their excuses ready early.

To be fair, I don't remember any of them in that thread talking about the start time but I could have missed it. Glorious was the one that just mentioned how NFL teams have performed at noon over the years.

Apples and Oranges. The idea is that in terms of athletic performance, afternoon and evening is where you are at your peak. When we won in Seattle, it was 7 in Alabama. Tipoff is about to be at 10am Gonzaga time

Does it really make a difference? Who knows but NFL statistics back it up. David Shaw got a lot of shite when he complained about playing a Pacific Time 9am game at Northwestern

All I want is for Timme to get blocked every time he shoots, and foul out with 5 offensive fouls (hooks).

Oh ok so you're talking about us playing them at noon with the timezone difference, that is a bit tougher, he has a good point.

Gonzaga could really use this win for NCAAT seeding since they won't have many chances for quality wins in conference play. We are gonna get their A++ game I feel like.

I think we match up well with Timme as long as we can stay out of foul trouble.

I feel like we are the superior team here but anything can happen we need to come out ready to play, I'm sure we will vs a team like Gonzaga.
