Just got home to watch.
MVPs - Sears & Clowney
Seemed to be settling in with the 4 newcomers on the floor at the same time. Nice win.

Love NY basketball players - usually fearless, tough and smart. Certainly true of Bradley, he was an obvious difference. No TOs for the last 15 min is great against anyone but phenomenal vs the Houston D. Much credit to the entire team and especially Jaden.
Loved seeing JW’s enthusiasm for his teammates from the bench. He will definitely be an asset to the team throughout the remainder of the year as he continues to recover.

Do you have a link to the Houston coach's press conference. Would like to see what he said.

Of the 11 players available right now the 4 worst are Quinerly,Bediako(not his fault just needs the right matchups), Gurley, and Miles.
All played significant minutes last year

I caved and paid $107 for a ticket to the Friday night event in Birmingham
it would kill me to pass up an opportunity to get autographs and meet the team and then this be a very special team that we look back on

Bamafan I’m trying to find tickets to the game Saturday. If any comes available let me know. I only live about 35 mins from the BJCC so it’s easier to go there than Tuscaloosa.
Not a guarantee I will go if some come available(I gotta see if my Buddy that watches Basketball with me has to work)

If you have twitter, follow my basketball account (@bamahoopsszn). I always post tickets on there when I hear of any. I’ll try to post them in here too if I remember tho. So far, Gonzaga tickets are very hard to come by. I had 4 extras the other day and they sold immediately.

I actually like him. He won't get many points (because he doesn't go back up as soon as he o rebounds) but Def he affects a lot of shots/shooters.

Clowney's comments about not caring about any team's rank or numbers may have just made him my favorite player on this team.
That kid is EXACTLY what you want as a coach.

Man that game felt good. Houston fans talking all that shite up 15 just to get pecker-slapped at home was restorative.
A few takeaways:
- This team is DEEP. We don't even have one of our possible starters available.
- JQ needs a less ball-dominant role right now. We seem to go to him when we're struggling with TO's, but so far he's been a walking TO. Glad Nate finally pulled him. He can get his "knock the rust off" minutes against lesser competition.
- If Bradley is in the game, he needs to run most of the offense. He's an absolute floor general and is the only guard seemingly unrattled against high-pressure defense.
- Miller is human. His hit coming out of high school was that he would be too passive if his shot wasn't on. 0-7 in the first half and 0-1 in the 2nd half. I'd say that's a pretty fair assessment. If he wants to get back in the top 5 prospects conversation, he's going to need to consistently bring that Alpha Dog mentality whether or not his shot is falling. I'm more okay with 0-7 in the first than 0-1 in the second.

These freshman and transfer that Oats brought in, are all team players.
They're beaming with confidence, no matter where the game is being played.
Other than the UConn game, we've been the more physical team.
They're not as wreckless, don't turn the ball over as much as last year's team.
A fun team, full of hard hat guys.

Pretty shitty takes. We are deep and Bradley is good. Wow. And a bunch of negative shite. Stunning analysis.
